Tue, 12 Feb 2013 12:39:43 EST The 10 Mile Race http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5181908 A friend of mine asked if I wanted to run a race with her at the end of March. It's going to be 10 miles long, so definitely a challenge. My longest race to this point has been a 4 mile obstacle course. We start training in two weeks! <BR> <BR> I'm excited but dreading it at the same time. Over the last two months I've lost 16 pounds. If I can lose 1 1/2 pounds per week until then, I'll be officially within a healthy weight range for the race. That would be awesome! I think I can do it. I'll... Mon, 31 Dec 2012 09:37:31 EST Success! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5132898 Weighed in this morning and the scale showed a loss of 3.4 pounds from a week ago! What an awesome start. It's nice to see changes on the scale while I'm waiting to see changes in my physical appearance. My motivation was still pretty high before weighing in, but seeing proof in hard numbers? All the better! Usually I would be snacking to deal with the anxiety but I'm chugging water instead. I have worked hard over the past week and I am NOT going to blow it now! Sun, 11 Nov 2012 19:37:55 EST Completely wiped out http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5129771 It's a good thing I have no official exercise planned tomorrow because I could use the break! I am dragging after this morning. What a great end to the week though! I didn't think I was going to be able to do my workout as quickly as I did, or that I wouldn't have to stop as often. It's awesome to feel the improvements every day. Fri, 9 Nov 2012 16:33:32 EST Almost three weeks of CrossFit http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5128460 And I am seeing changes. My pants are starting to hang lower on my hips, my waist is starting to decrease, I'm getting stronger! Every time I do a CrossFit Workout of the Day I get a little bit better, a little faster, a little stronger. I never thought I could see changes this quickly. And now that I am watching my calories as well, the weight is starting to fall off. This is exactly what I've needed. Since the workouts are different every day, there is a much lower chance of boredom as we k... Thu, 8 Nov 2012 12:43:41 EST
