Hoping I can stay at or under this weight now. Have a busy Friday ahead of me, as well as a busy weekend planned. Everyone have a Happy Easter! Fri, 29 Mar 2013 08:46:14 EST Gained another pound and a half - up to 120.5 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5295955 Gained another pound and a half this past week, putting me up to 120.5 - still within my maintenance range, but would like to get my weight back down again. I'm sure it didn't help that Kevin ordered us Jet's Pizza last weekend. Hoping I can at least get back under 120 this week, because Kevin and I are going down to Myrtle Beach next weekend - it will be our first beach trip of the year! Fri, 22 Mar 2013 08:55:54 EST Gained a pound... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5287524 I went from 118 last week to 119 this week... not going to sweat it though, I'm still well within my maintenance range. Plus, I always seem to gain around the middle of the month, not sure why. And I've been in a P90x recovery week, which is all flexibility, aerobics and core work - no strength training. Looking forward to getting back to weight workouts next week and seeing how my body responds now that I'm in maintenance! Fri, 15 Mar 2013 09:49:26 EST Discovered an easy way to get some extra movement into my work day! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5283809 I was looking at the Sparkpeople videos and discovered there are a few seated workouts...I tried a few of them and they are a perfect way for me to add more movement to my work day, especially during times when I'm waiting for calls to come in... and since I work from home I won't have to worry about my boss or co-workers giving me strange looks 30 . I'll be interested to see how many more calories I burn by adding a few of those workouts to my work day each day, in addition to th... Tue, 12 Mar 2013 11:09:57 EST Jeans vs. Leggings http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5283694 Now that I've worn both, I can say there are definitely advantages and disadvantages to both jeans and leggings. The advantages of jeans are they have pockets, so you can put things in them if needed - leggings may not have pockets - these jeggings I'm wearing have pockets in the back, which aren't very helpful. Jeans may also be more comfortable when you've eaten too much, or when us women are on our time of the month 15 . I do love my leggings though, because they aren't as b... Tue, 12 Mar 2013 09:54:08 EST Here are my fat clothes! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5281271 Here they are! The stuff in bags is stuff I'm donating - the stuff behind it is stuff I'm throwing out! Please excuse the quality of this picture, I took it on my phone...

In addition, I've decided to get rid of a bunch of my workout DVDs that I no longer use. Not sure what I'm going to do with those yet though... Sun, 10 Mar 2013 14:28:12 EST Cleaned out a bunch of my "fat" clothes http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5281024 Cleaned out a bunch of my "fat" clothes yesterday...what a wonderful experience! Most of them I'm going to donate, but some of them I'm just going to throw out. Looking forward to getting more "skinny" clothes as soon as I can afford them! Sun, 10 Mar 2013 10:45:13 EST I did it! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5278569 My goal was to get down to 120 pounds, and as of this morning I am 118 pounds! I'm amazed I was able to lose weight this past week, especially since we were in Michigan last weekend and I ate a lot of fattening Jets Pizza. 41 . But I am happy I made it. Now my next challenge is to maintain that weight loss. Oh and for those who are interested, here are a few pics that my husband took of me in my jeggings last night:

<img src="http://photos-ak.sparkpeople.com/nw/2/1... Fri, 8 Mar 2013 09:09:34 EST Wearing my first pair of jeggings... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5277130 Wearing my first pair of jeggings (leggings that look like jeans), and they feel weird... I guess I'm just used to wearing heavier weight pants, like jeans - these are so light, and there's hardly anything to them... the only actual pockets are in the back. I like the way they look though, and so far they feel real comfortable as I sit here waiting for calls to come in 30 . Hope to get more soon!

Oh, and yesterday I posted a post about getting out of your comfort zone... Thu, 7 Mar 2013 09:13:23 EST How Do You Get Out of Your Comfort Zone? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5276065 What do you all like to do to get out of your comfort zone? I've been trying to look for ways to get out of my comfort zone and change things up a bit... I thought about adding P90x Plus to my routine (P90x Plus is an add-on program for P90x) - but after looking at it, it looks a bit too advanced right now. I think right now I'm going to stick with continuing to challenge myself with my weight workouts, increasing weight whenever I can and lowering the stirrup on my Chin-Up Max whenever chi... Wed, 6 Mar 2013 14:25:33 EST 121!!! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5259782 As of this morning I weighed in at 121, for 4 pounds lost this week! Looks like I'm doing something right. This morning I did a second Plyo X workout like I said I was going to. I also came up with the idea of sitting or laying on my stability ball while doing some of my weight exercises - going to try that and see how that works next week. Everyone have a great weekend! Fri, 22 Feb 2013 09:45:40 EST My back is gettting stronger! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5254544 Discovered this morning that my back is getting stronger... I can do a few partial pull-ups without my P90x chin-up max! 104

EDIT: Had a doctor's appointment this morning and went to Golden Corral (buffet restaurant) for lunch afterwards and did exactly what I said I was going to do, and ate a salad off the salad bar as one of my courses... put a bunch of stuff on it, like cranberries and these little nuts... not sure what they were, they may have been soybeans or soy ... Mon, 18 Feb 2013 08:59:31 EST Got a few ideas! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5252451 Got a few ideas last night... next time Kevin and I eat at a buffet restaurant, if it has a salad bar I think I'm going to get a salad as my first course... if I can fill up on vegetables I think I'll be less tempted to eat a lot of the higher fat offerings on the buffet. Also with regards to P90x, I'm thinking of doing Plyo X twice a week, instead of Plyo X one day and Kenpo X the next... as much as I love Kenpo, I don't feel like I'm getting much of a workout from it anymore, so I'm going ... Sat, 16 Feb 2013 10:04:17 EST Gained 3 pounds :( http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5251870 Well last week I lost another half pound, bringing me down to 122, but this morning when I stepped on the scale I got a rather unpleasant surprise... I was back up to 125 pounds 46 . Had to think about what I ate this past week... last night was not good, Kevin got us take-out from our favorite chinese place, as well as my favorite flavor of ice cream, mint chocolate chip, and he also got shell topping for it. Though I didn't eat a whole lot of either of those two things, we also... Fri, 15 Feb 2013 17:23:54 EST Down to 122.5 as of last Friday! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5237570 As of last Friday, 2/1/13, I am down to 122.5! Only 2 1/2 pounds to go and I'll be at 120. Tried something a little different this morning because I'm getting burnt out on some of the P90x workouts, and did one of my old dvds, a FIRM total body workout that alternates aerobic intervals with strength training. Felt good to do that one... I could do it pretty well before, but I can do it even better now that I've lost a little more weight and am stronger. Tomorrow though, it will be back to... Mon, 4 Feb 2013 17:51:08 EST Back down to 124.5 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5212843 Well as of this morning, I am back down to 124.5! 30 . Now let's see if I can go down a little lower. This week I also decided to lower the stirrup on my Chin-Up max since pull-ups and chin-ups are getting too easy with it at the height was at before. Looking forward to more challenging workouts. This weekend I think Kevin and I are going to try out the breadmaker we got for Christmas. Everyone have a great weekend! Fri, 18 Jan 2013 10:45:42 EST Gained two pounds this week :( http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5189652 Not surprised though considering how much junk I ate while we were up in Michigan for New Years. Looking forward to getting back on track and getting down to my goal. Did Kenpo (kickboxing) this morning and feel great. Everyone have a great weekend! Fri, 4 Jan 2013 09:06:12 EST Looking forward to seeing what I can accomplish in 2013 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5186099 Happy 2013 everyone! I'm looking forward to seeing what I can accomplish this year. Got back on track this morning with my first P90x workout of the year - Plyo X. Going to get back on track this week with doing strength and flexibility workouts also.

I'm very excited about what I accomplished in 2012 - I managed to lose about 15 pounds, and my body fat went down about 6%. This year I hope to get down to my ultimate goal of 120 (hope to accomplish that this month! LOL) and I'd... Wed, 2 Jan 2013 12:25:03 EST Lost another pound and a half and went down to 27.6% body fat! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5178816 I'm pleased to say that even considering I was out of town for Christmas and probably didn't eat as well as I should, I still lost a pound and a half, AND I went down to 27.6% body fat, from about 29% last month. I drank a lot of water this past week, and I also tried to eat a lot of vegetables... even tried fennel for the first time when we visited my aunt and uncle on Christmas Eve day - it wasn't bad, it's a crunchy vegetable with a kind of licorice taste to it. We got home on Wednesday a... Fri, 28 Dec 2012 13:03:27 EST Lost a pound and a half! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5172775 I'm pleased to say that after making an effort to add more vegetables this week (mostly baby carrots that I would munch on with my lunches) I'm now back down to 126... so I'm pretty sure the reason why I've been gaining weight the past few weeks was because I hadn't been eating a lot fo vegetables.

I'm looking forward to this coming weekend... Sunday Kevin and I are driving down to Myrtle Beach, SC to spend a few days down there... going to take a trip to Florence, SC (about an h... Fri, 21 Dec 2012 10:01:21 EST Going back up :( http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5166355 I'm sorry to say that ever since I hit 125 about a month ago, I've been going back up. I didn't weigh myself the following Friday (11/23) because Kevin and I were out of town for Thanksgiving... the following Friday I weighed myself and was pleased to see that I'd only gained half a pound the past two weeks. The Friday after that I weighed myself again and discovered I'd gained another pound and a half 46 . However I hadn't eaten very well when we were in Michigan, so I figured i... Fri, 14 Dec 2012 10:32:32 EST 125!! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5137365 Well, I'm proud to say that as of this morning, I reached my first goal of 125 pounds!! 104 . Now I'm going to see if I can lose another 5 pounds. Still continuing to eat a lot of protein, which definitely seems to be paying off. Next week should be interesting... I took the whole week off from work because Kevin and I will be going up to Michigan for Thanksgiving weekend - leaving Wednesday and coming back Sunday or Monday. I plan to take a bunch of workouts with me, such as m... Fri, 16 Nov 2012 11:04:45 EST 126.5! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5121238 This week I lost another 2 1/2 pounds - down to 126.5 from 129 last week. I am definitely convinced that eating more protein is key to losing weight. I'm still doing well with my P90x workouts - I did my Yoga X workout last weekend while we were at the beach. I'm also pleased to say that while Kevin and I did indulge a little bit, neither of us ended up in the hospital last weekend, which is a good thing 30 . Looking forward to reaching my goal weight real soon if I can keep a... Fri, 2 Nov 2012 09:13:31 EST Lost half a pound and went down almost another 1% body fat http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5113578 As of this morning, I'm down to 129, from 129.5 the past few weeks. More importantly however, I'm down to 29.9% body fat from 30.8% last month - that's almost another 1% body fat lost. I'm convinced that getting more protein is the key to keeping the body fat going down - I've been trying to get more protein in the form of protein shakes mostly, and this week also tried greek yogurt for the first time, and I like it. This week I also started my "custom" P90x workout - trying to follow P90x... Fri, 26 Oct 2012 11:17:29 EST Did my last P90x workout! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5106869 Well, as of this morning I did my last workout of my first round of P90x... a Yoga X workout. I am so excited about finishing my first round of P90x, and looking forward to continuing to see changes in my body as I continue to challenge myself with more rounds of P90x. 30 . This morning I also tried greek yogurt for the first time... I tried a Dannon Light & Fit Strawberry Greek Yogurt, and it was pretty good.. a bit more tart than the yogurts I usually eat, but still pretty go... Sun, 21 Oct 2012 09:47:02 EST 129.5 again... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5104768 Well I stayed at 129.5 again this morning... still not worried though, just as long as I don't gain weight 41 . Only have two workouts left in my first round of P90x... hard to believe! Tomorrow is Cardio X (which I'm substituting with Plyo X) and then Sunday will be Yoga X.

For those of you who are considering P90x, I wanted to share a link to an article I read on EverydayHealth: http://www.everydayhealth.com/fitness/is-t
he-p90x-workout-right-for-you.aspx
... Fri, 19 Oct 2012 10:12:51 EST One week left of P90x! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5097358 Well, Tuesday starts my last week of the P90x Lean routine! I'm very happy with the progress I've made during this round of P90x - I can tell I've definitely gained strength in a lot of areas, even if I haven't lost a lot of weight. I stayed at 129.5 yesterday when I weighed myself, and that's fine with me. I still think I'm going to do what I said I was going to do last week - try and follow the P90x classic routine as closely as possible until the end of the year, and then see where I'm ... Sat, 13 Oct 2012 09:28:37 EST Gained a pound http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5087656 Was back up to 129.5 when I weighed myself this morning - I'm not surprised considering I didn't workout for two or three days while Kevin and I were in Myrtle Beach. Going to try to get it off next week.

Been thinking more about what I want to do after I finish this first round of P90x, and I think now that I want to try to follow the P90x classic routine (which has three weight workouts per week instead of just two) as close as possible, at least until the end of this year - t... Fri, 5 Oct 2012 09:51:45 EST My weekend http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5082053 Well, this weekend ended up being interesting, to say the least... we ended up having to extend our stay by a day because Kevin ended up in the hospital on Saturday because of chest pain - he's fine now luckily, but he had to stay over night for observation so they could evaluate him to see if he'd had a heart attack because he had bad chest pain. If he did have a heart attack, they were going to do a stress test yesterday morning. Luckily his heart enzyme levels were normal - he hadn't ha... Mon, 1 Oct 2012 11:33:50 EST Lost the half pound I gained and went down about 1% body fat http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5078177 Well as of this morning I lost the half pound I gained last week, and I've also gone down about 1% body fat - from 31.9% last month to 30.8% as of this morning... I'm hoping I'll be able to keep my body fat and weight going down now.

Did pretty well with my workouts this week - I'm beginning to notice that I have a lot more strength in my arms and in my back. It's getting easier for me to do pull-ups and chin-ups on my bar. My strength is also coming back in my abs, I was able... Fri, 28 Sep 2012 09:36:21 EST Only gained half a pound! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5069034 Well I'm pleased to say I've only gained half a pound in the past two weeks - I'm happy about that, especially considering how much fattening food I ate while we were up in Michigan last weekend. We're going to Michigan for Thanksgiving week, I'm hoping that I can be down to my goal weight of 125 by then.

Only have a month left on my first P90x schedule. Not sure what I'll do after that, I may do another round of Brazil Butt lift, or I may just do my own workout schedule with som... Fri, 21 Sep 2012 10:47:55 EST Into week 9 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5067580 Well as of yesterday i started week 9 of P90x. Didn't get all of week 8 done unfortunately because of our weekend up in Michigan - though I did bring my Stretch X workout up there and did that one day. Next time I might also bring ab ripper X and/or Yoga X up there as well. Kind of nervous to see how much I weigh tomorrow, I didn't eat very well while we were up in Michigan, plus my time of the month arrived yesterday. But I am back on track now, and I know whatever I gained I will lose ag... Thu, 20 Sep 2012 09:50:09 EST Started week 8 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5054217 Well as of this morning I have started week 8 of P90x... the recovery week for the second training block. Hard to believe I'm 2/3 of the way through it already! Was supposed to do Yoga X this morning, but I would have had to get up at 6:00 am in order to get the entire 90 minute workout in... so I skipped it and did one of my shorter non-P90x yoga workouts instead, and also did some sit-ups using my Iron Gym. Tomorrow is Core Synergistics.

This weekend we're driving up to Michi... Tue, 11 Sep 2012 10:46:23 EST Stayed the same... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5048242 Stayed the same this week, which is fine with me considering all the junk I ate while Kevin and I were down at the beach over Labor Day weekend. Also got my Chin-Up Max a few days ago, and I think I'm finally starting to figure out how to use it - took me a while to get it at the right height for me - when I had it too high it would swing all over the place, so I didn't feel safe on it. So I started out adjusting it a little lower. I won't be able to do a full pull-up with it at the height... Fri, 7 Sep 2012 09:08:34 EST Hope everyone had a great Labor Day! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5043671 Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend! It's back to work and back to working out and eating right for me - though I do have to say, I'm proud of myself because while I was at the beach this weekend, I took my P90x Yoga workout DVD with me and actually did it while I was down there - the room that we stayed in made it easy though, because the room was actually kind of a suite - it was two rooms - one was the bedroom - had the bed, a nightstand, a tv, etc - and then the other was like a l... Tue, 4 Sep 2012 09:31:39 EST 128.5!! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5038649 As of this morning I weighed in at 128.5 pounds, for a 1.5 pound loss this week, after being stuck at 130 for about three weeks!! Heading to Myrtle Beach, SC this weekend for Labor Day weekend - taking a few of my P90x videos with me so I can hopefully work out a little while we're there.

I ordered the Chin-up Max the other day from Beachbody.com, hoping it will help make doing chin-ups on my chin-up bar easier. Everyone have a great Labor Day weekend! Fri, 31 Aug 2012 10:29:46 EST Got my chin-up bar assembled... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5031941 Well, my husband got my chin-up bar assembled today, and after trying to do a pull-up on it I can tell I'm definitely going to have to use something to give me a little leverage until I get stronger. I may purchase a chin-up max or other chin-up assist device, because I don't really have a chair that's sturdy enough to use for the chin-up and pull-up exercises. Tried using my aerobic step, but that doesn't give me enough leverage even witht he risers under it... Sun, 26 Aug 2012 16:39:01 EST P90x progress http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5027731 This morning I did a Chest, Shoulders and Triceps and Ab Ripper X workout - and I'm pleased to say that for the first time I was able to do 25 reps of ALL the Ab Ripper X exercises!! I only made it part of the way through the Chest, Shoulders and Triceps workout unfortunately because of time constraints, but the exercises in that workout are definitely tough. Today I should get most of the stuff I ordered from Walmart, including my chin-up bar, heart rate monitor, and yoga blocks, as well as... Thu, 23 Aug 2012 10:51:50 EST Getting ready to start the second P90x lean training block! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5021802 Tomorrow is the last day of my first P90x training block, and I'm really happy about the progress I've made so far. I didn't lose much weight during this first training block, but I'm hoping my body fat percentage went down - I'll be checking that on Friday, when i weigh myself again. I also am finally going to be able to get my chin-up bar as well as a few other things, like a heart rate monitor and some yoga blocks, ordered soon, after having some problems ordering them on Walmart.com's s... Sun, 19 Aug 2012 12:41:58 EST Stayed the same and did my first X Stretch workout http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5019282 Stayed at the same weight this morning as I was last Friday... 130. I'm happy with that considering I've been in my first recovery week this week and therefore haven't been doing a lot of weight training - just cardio and stretching mostly. Speaking of stretching, I did my first X Stretch workout this morning, and I enjoyed it. It was stretching along with a few yoga moves - I'm wondering if it would be a good substitute for the Yoga X workout for days when i don't have time (or don't want... Fri, 17 Aug 2012 10:31:53 EST Continually amazed... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5011180 At the progress I'm making. This morning was another legs and back workout - I was able to do most exercises using eight pound weights, and this evening I did another ab ripper x workout because I didn't have time to do it in the morning, and I was able to do 23 reps of Fifer Scissors and 25 of all the other ab exercises! I'm looking foward to my recovery week starting this coming Tuesday- it will be mostly core, cardio, and yoga and stretching workouts. Then the following week the second... Sat, 11 Aug 2012 17:40:58 EST Down half a pound and getting stronger abs http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5009477 Well this morning when I weighed myself I was back down to 130 pounds - so I lost the half pound I gained last week - now let's see if I can lose the half pound I gained the week before. Also, last night after I finished work I did the Ab Ripper X workout that I didn't get to do in the morning because I ran out of time... and I was able to do 25 reps of all of the exercises EXCEPT for Fifer Scissors, which I was able to do 20 reps of. This morning I did Yoga X, and got through all 90 minutes... Fri, 10 Aug 2012 09:58:06 EST Continuing to make progress with P90x http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5007936 I am continuing to make progress with P90x... this morning for the first time I tried the bonus round exercises in the shoulders and arms workout and was able to do all of them. I'm also finding that I'm able to do more reps of most of the exercises... so I guess that means I'm doing something right! Thu, 9 Aug 2012 09:25:21 EST Gained another half pound. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4999305 So this week I gained another half pound... up to 130.5 from 129.5 two weeks ago. I'm hoping I'm gaining muscle and not fat, but just in case I'm going to keep track of my food intake this week for at least a few days.

Still working at P90x though, and I'm improving every day. I was able to use eight pound weights for most of the exercises in the shoulders and arms workout, and I feel like I could have gone even higher than that. Today I was able to do most of the Yoga workout... Fri, 3 Aug 2012 09:59:09 EST P90x Day 6 - Kenpo X http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4991445 This morning's workout was Kenpo X, and I have to say I think this is my favorite P90x workout so far. Kenpo X is basically a kickboxing workout, but it's not like a lot of kickboxing workouts I've done - it focuses a lot more on form, so you're actually learning how to do the moves correctly while still getting a great workout. Just like Cardio X, it has a good warm-up and stretch at the beginning, and a short cooldown at the end. Tomorrow is Rest or X Stretch - not sure if I'll try the X... Sun, 29 Jul 2012 09:38:35 EST P90x Day 5 - Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4990291 Today I did a legs and back workout and another ab ripper X workout. The legs and back workout was challenging, even though I had to modify for some exercises since I don't have a chin-up bar to use. I still got a good workout even despite that. Ab ripper x was a little easier this time - I was able to do more repetitions of a lot of the exercises, but I do need to work on building up my lower abdominal muscles - my upper abs and obliques are pretty strong, but my lower abs definitely need... Sat, 28 Jul 2012 10:05:17 EST P90x Day 4 - Yoga X http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4989024 Today's P90x workout was Yoga X, a 90 minute yoga workout. Was able to do a lot of the postures that don't require any balance with no problems, but once I got into the postures that don't require balance I started having problems because I don't have a very good sense of balance. Not worried about it though, I'm sure I'll get better at them over time.

In other news, I gained half a pound this week - not sweating it though, it was probably half a pound of muscle. I'm sure I'll l... Fri, 27 Jul 2012 09:54:56 EST P90x Lean Day 3 - Shoulders and Arms and Ab Ripper X http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4987561 Today's workouts were Shoulders and Arms and Ab Ripper X. Shoulders and Arms was pretty easy, probably because I used light weights while I get used to the exercises, LOL. Next week I'll be using my eight pound weights for a lot of those exercises. Ab Ripper X was a shorter workout but a bit more challenging - I definitely found out during that workout that upper abs are stronger than my lower abs! LOL. Tomorrow's workout will be Yoga X. Thu, 26 Jul 2012 09:43:20 EST P90x Lean Day 2 - Cardio X http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4986006 Today I did the Cardio X workout, which was different from a lot of the cardio workouts I've done in a few ways. First, the warm up was a lot longer and more intense than a lot of workouts I've done before - it included some yoga as well as light aerobics. The workout itself included some yoga, some core synergistics work, and some kickboxing, which I liked. Tomorrow's workouts will be shoulders and arms and Ab Ripper X. Wed, 25 Jul 2012 09:27:54 EST P90x Day 1 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4984532 Did the first workout in the P90x lean program today - Core Synergistics. It was kind of tough - I had a hard time doing some of the exercises because I didn't have the strength in my core - but I got through it. Tomorrow's workout is cardio, we'll see what that one is like! Tue, 24 Jul 2012 09:22:32 EST
