Man, am I embarrassed.

Ok so what's new... let's see

I've been off work since mid June... Long story so here's the short version. One of the bosses at work intimidated me and things have deteriorated from that. So, you know how that goes when you're stressed, depressed, frustrated, angry... and at home. Recipe for disaster! Of course I turned to food for comfort so I haven't lost weight.

I went through ... Thu, 30 Oct 2014 15:46:57 EST couch to 10k, week one completed http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5714364 I'm happy to report that I was able to complete week one with no pain in my legs whatsoever. But, I realized that my cardio has suffured from the month break from running. I got winded doing the minute or running required and that sucks!

But I know it will improve fast so I'll keep calm in the meanwhile.

So here is my week one summary

Mon, 9 Jun 2014 16:42:12 EST 24 minutes of pure bliss http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5709011 Today, I started running again after a month's break to let my legs heal.

I'm good, I decided to be kind to my body and start slow in order not to overtrain again and get injured. So, the month is over now and I just can't wait to get back in my running shoes and hit the pavement.

I know I have to start slow in order not to wake the injuries up again so I'm going to start really slow Monday. I'm not even going to try to find out how much I lost during the last month. I'm going to dig up my couch to 5k programm and strart from there and ajust along the way.

I... Sat, 31 May 2014 12:08:55 EST Hope I'm back for good this time http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5696982 I am so not proud of myself.

I went MIA for so long and lost control on my food intake. I have no one to blame but myself but it still makes me mad that I sabotaged myself like that. I'm back at 183 lbs and I have so much trouble to just not overeat right now. And of course, I turn to bad choices: chips, ice cream and overall junk.

I don't know if I still have readers out there, but if so, here is a resumé of the last 6 months or so.

I was training for a... No need to tell you guys that I wasn't top shape on Sunday. I went to bed at 4h15 AM and woke up at noon. Hurray!

I did my long run, 10.75 kms so I guess nest week's race won't be too intimidating.

I didn't lose an ounce this week and I only have myself to blame. We lost a coworker in a bicycle accident, 2 friends lost their dads to cancer and a coworker lost his wife to cancer. It hasn't been a pleasant month, I spent a few nights at funeral homes paying my respects to the families.

And mother nature wasn't too nice either. Lots of cold weather, rain and even a snow storm!

I went running 12 times and even attained 9.75 km as my long run. The challenge is getting pretty close now, only 3 weeks to... I know I went running 3 times, walked the dog, took a zumba class and did yoga once but it seems a total blur for the rest of my week. It must have been a very uneventful week if I can't recall any of it.

I lost one pound and ran 9.76 kms yesterday for my long run. So, I'll sign off with the week's stats.

Fri, 26 Apr 2013 14:45:40 EST week 16 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5329378 My week wasn't top notch. I ate way to much calorie wise but I also made real bad choices, that's worse than eating too many calories, in my book.

I had stayed clear of sugar since the beginning of the year, yes I had a few bites here and there on valentine's day and when I went to the sugar shack, but in all, I really wasn't missing sugar at all. Sat, 20 Apr 2013 07:29:58 EST week 15 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5320970 I've had quite a week.

We lost a coworker who died in a bicycle accident. It did hit us pretty bad because it happened less then 2 km from were we work, at an intersection that we go through 6 times a day. So every time we cross it, we think of what happened to him. As a team, we decided to put up a memorial, one of us built a white cross and we hung it on a traffic light pole at the intersection so we will always remember him.

I ate perfectly all week, ran my a$$ off... I didn't even come near chocolate during the week end, which for me, is a first. But, because there is a but, I did eat way to much other stuff. I manage to go running on Sunday, my long run (6.66 km) so I guess that was my damage control method not to gain weight over the Easter week end.

I'm still very bad with the cross training part of my goals, I really have no clue as to how I'm going to discipline myself into doing it.

We had very windy and ... Sat, 6 Apr 2013 15:02:45 EST Reflections on March's goals and April's goals http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5306131 March brought me a huge fitness challenge in which I jumped in with both feet. As a result, I'm really committed with my running in order to achieve the fitness level I'll need to do this challenge, which is to run 25 km in a 30 hours period.

I also have been really consistent in walking the dog each working day's morning. I've only missed 3 outings but those were my dog's choice not to go! She hates getting wet so when it rains heavily, she refuses to come take a walk!
<B... I honestly would have wanted to have lost more so eventhough a loss is a loss, I'm a bit disappointed because of the quality of the week I had. I know that as I'm getting closer to my goal weight, the pounds will take longer to leave me, but I just want them gone, now!
Oh well, I just need to put that thought behind me and continue forward.

Here are the past week's stats

<img src="http://photos-ak.sparkpeople.com... I did go over my calories 5 days this week but not excessively. So, I'll try to do better this coming week.

Last Sunday, I went running outside for the first time of the year. Oh how good it felt. I so hate running on the treadmill but with the cold weather and the ice and snow outside, I won't risk running outside during the winter and get injured.

The training for the Montreal-Quebec challenge is going ... I'll try to catch up this week end so that my buddy will get her exercises done.

Fri, 18 Jan 2013 11:48:12 EST Week 2 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5202687 As stated in my previous blog, week 2 comes early too but week 3 will be next Friday.

I worked all week, and my job is very demanding physically, so I couldn't go running in the past days but it'll happen this week end.

Fri, 11 Jan 2013 20:06:19 EST Week 1 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5192822 I know I'm a bit early to reflect on week one, but I'm used to weighing myself on Friday's and I just want to go back to that weight in day. Mon, 31 Dec 2012 16:40:33 EST Reflecting on the past http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5182061

I had a little time on my hands, so I decided to read my entire blog. It seems I was way motivated when I started blogging back in July 2010 and it brought some great results. As time went by, the posts were days, then weeks and even months apart, and the motivation and results weren't there anymore. The few last posts are all about my lack of motivation and I must be honest, I even noted a little self pity. I am not making excuses for myself, far from that.

So, 2... Mon, 31 Dec 2012 11:07:43 EST Week nine update (late again) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5130436 I'm still running alot actually and it kepts me sane for the time being. But everything else is on a stand still except for my weight, I gained 2 lbs.

I really don't know what to do to lose anymore, I am really confused as to my ideal weight. I always thought that it should be around 135-140 lbs but my body seems to be very confortable around 170 ish because it keeps going back in the 170-175 lbs range. I should reevaluate my goal, even if it means that my BMI will be way over... Sat, 10 Nov 2012 10:42:09 EST Week 8 update http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5117146 I am feeling like I'm in running around in circles. Weeks keep coming and going and they seem to be the same, over and over again.

I kept running, a lot actually, didn't do yoga at all except for a few stretches, went to the gym once last week and got so sore (my body is punishing me for not going regularly I guess, lol)e and I haven't lost an ounce in weeks.

I'm getting a bit frustrated since I'm increasing my mileage every week, so I'm burning more calories and still,... Mon, 29 Oct 2012 19:13:07 EST weeks 6 and 7 updates http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5108130 Well I haven't updated in 2 weeks. I was really out of it, both mentally and physically. I continued running, did yoga and went to the gym during week 6 but only went running in week 7.

So, I'll report next week in time, I promise. Mon, 22 Oct 2012 09:10:07 EST Week 5 update (late again) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5094433 I've had a very good week. One of my October goals is to exercise every day and I managed to do just that as of today.

312 I went running 3 times this week and I'm up to 6 km each outing.

414 I did a full session of yoga this week. Yeah!

34 I even went to the gym twice, I'm impressed at myself.

192 I lost 1/2 lb, so I'm down to 170.5 lbs.

I'm proud of the week I did, I exercised a lot, ate... As I was updating my running calendar, I felt really proud of my running attendance for the past month. I ran 65km in 14 outings.
I deserve a 244 243 for this one, even if I do say so myself!

Food, I did pretty good, not ... I really do have to achieve a balance otherwise I may just get fed up with it all again.

363 3 outings again this week and I've uped my distances to 5,5 km but I still have to take a few walking breaks.
414 Still not achieving this one (sigh)
34 Guess I just have to kick myself and just go.
