Not as bad as the first day. Not at all. I didn't feel hungry til late in the afternoon, although my energy level was low. I got up anyway early afternoon and started doing chores. Amazing how when you move around using energy, the more energy you seem to have!!!! So yesterday I ate only the five required products and 2 pieces of sugarless gum. I didn't need any extras! Today should be interesting. I am out of the berry yogurt bars and trying a choco... Sat, 2 Jun 2012 08:01:45 EST And again http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4907020 This time using a doctor for monitoring and keeping me on track. I actually went to a weight loss clinic so that I could have all the blood work and an RMR calculated. Results were good and the dr and I discussed my loss of motivation when the numbers on the scale don't change quickly enough. New diet plan---optifast 800 with mandatory weekly weigh ins, blood work, and support group meetings. Yesterday was day one, and boy, was it hard! I was given permission to have up to 2 extra items ... Fri, 1 Jun 2012 08:39:21 EST Finally! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4424263 I finally hit my first mini-goal of 200. Yea!!!!!!! Now, I am looking forward to being under 200 so I can reward myself for all those salads at lunch and having only 1 piece of chocolate a day!!!! Sat, 13 Aug 2011 09:24:58 EST Supersonic http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4386823 Feeling good about eating on plan for the most part yesterday. I ate a little too much pasta at dinner, but still remained in my calorie range. Every day, I try to find a song on youtube to post to my facebook account. This song is either the earworm of the day or a song to fit my mood. Today's song is "Supersonic" by JJ Fad. Brings back terrific memories of having fun with friends in junior high. High energy song too. Enjoy your Tuesday!!! Successful day to all! Tue, 26 Jul 2011 08:58:25 EST readjusting the attitude http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4384965 yesterday, we went shopping for groceries with the resolve to eat on plan. My husband has been forewarned that the menus will be very different. We managed to get out of Kroger with a basket of healthy foods and snacks. The only "unhealthy" items were snacks for the kids. Luckily, they picked out stuff that I can't stand even when I feel like I am starving. <BR> Today, I woke up with the resolve to eat on plan all day. So far, okay. I have a hard time eating breakfast and have t... Mon, 25 Jul 2011 12:41:53 EST not too shabby http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4374446 We went on vacation last week. Usually this is a diet and exercise buster for my family. 12 hours on the road each way with stops for snacks and fast food, restaurant eating, etc. This time was actually different. We still had gas station snacks and fast food, but made better choices--popcorn and water, fruit and yogurt parfaits from McDonalds (their McGriddles are great for breakfast too without the greasy sausage!). We spent three days in between 12 hour rides walking through three mus... Wed, 20 Jul 2011 09:41:54 EST here we go again http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4350918 <BR> After gaining 30 pounds in the past six months while doing minimal exercise and loving my ice cream, I had the doctor test me for thyroid issues. Guess what? negative. That means that this is my chore to fix. I have to diet and exercise and work the program and quit blaming other things for my weight and self esteem. So, last night the hubby and I bought an elliptical for the house. New rule--try to get in at least thirty minutes a day on it. It doesn't have to be at once. It ca... Sat, 9 Jul 2011 09:08:27 EST
