Though I was doing some Jazzercise the last two weeks I did it 4 times this week and really watched my diet. Gluten Free for 6 days now. I have just started seeing little changes. Can't wait till the end of July to see where I'm at. I think it's will be really good this time. Sat, 20 Jun 2009 21:07:42 EST Love Jazzercise I have finally found an exercise routine that works EVERY muscle group, burns tons of calories and is FUN. The group I go to is a nice group of women that don't care what each other is wearing. They are all normal! The price is so reasonable and it's within walking distance from my house. (Not that I would walk there because my legs would never walk back up to my house after the workout.) :0) Wed, 17 Jun 2009 09:31:52 EST Happy March!!! Well it's almost Spring so this month I'm going to Spring into more cardio!! Finally released to do more low-imapct, my goal will be 1 hour of cardio 5 days a week. I'll still do 2 -3 days strength training too. I'm charged and ready to go!!!! Sun, 1 Mar 2009 10:16:55 EST Finally!! Today I went to the Gyne and got on the scale. I am finally back down to my starting weight. THANK GOD!!! I started using the Nutritional Trackers diet instead of my own. Even with all the carbs and fruit I feel good. I would normally eat more protein but my sugar seems to be staying stable for the most part. I also changed my workouts to more cardio because my Chiropractor gave the go. I can't go wild but I can start kicking it into gear. So I'm only going to lift 2 times a week and ... I'm taking alittle extra time on my appearance. I finally feel like the post partum issues don't bother me everday. Wed, 25 Feb 2009 10:50:43 EST Good day Had a good day today. Went over my calories and REALLLY over my sodium but everything else was good. I went over my calories on Hummus and tortilla chips so it wasn't like I had cake or something. <BR> I did a walking cardio DVD tonight. Did the 1 mile, with weights, 20 minutes and no stopping. May seem like a small thing but it's the first time I got through it without my back or hips having issues. I'm going to stick with that this week and next week try the 2 mile and see how my body... Mon, 16 Feb 2009 22:24:08 EST It's gone. Got rid of the scale today. Forever. <BR> This past week I was discouraged and miserable because of a number on the scale. I have let that number dictate my happiness, sadness, whether I feel atractive or not, whether I deserve to be treated well or not and my worth in life. It's over. I can't let that number run my life, my emotions, my mind or my self worth anymore. I've lost a total of 5.5 inches off my body but still have not lost a pound. I know it's mainly because I can't do intense cardio to really sweat because my back isn't ready. The chiropractor wants me to wait one to two more months before I go nuts. I know he's right. My back has made wonderful improvements but I tried to jog the other day and paid for it the next day! My lower back was really sore. The rest of my body was fine so that is really good because 4 months ago I would go for ... Wed, 11 Feb 2009 21:34:23 EST Measurments I didn't get on the scale but I did do my measurements. In 20 days I lost 1 inch off my butt and 1/2 inch off my waist. I wish I had measured above the knee cap or the calf but I didn't. I mainly did the middle areas. I will measure again on the 3rd of Feb and see what I lost in a month. <BR> I changed my eating to more protein and got rid of ALL sugar in the house except for what Amanda snacks on. Thu, 22 Jan 2009 20:43:22 EST Got a compliment Yesteday I went to the Mommy and Me exercise class at the library. I saw a girl I hadn't seen since I was 7 months pregnant with Elaina. She told me how good I looked and thati had come a long way. She may never know how much that meant to me! I get so very few compliments in the course of life, it's hard. You just want someone - ANYONE - to notice the work you do and how far you've come. It takes a special person to be able to give compliments and sadly they are few and far between. I... It's amazing how many calories there are in foods when you eat out or grab something in line at the cash register. Logging everything is really making me realize what choices I need to make. I'm so excited to be on stage 2 and really focus on portions. I use a couple healthy habits but the articles have taught me a couple more. All the skinny people I know eat much smaller portions than I do on a regular basis so I've been cutting back but the nutritional tracker has shown me where I still need to limit. It feels weird to take care of myself so well. I still fight guilt everyday that I should be doing something else besides exercising but I talk myself through it. <BR> <BR> Today I played outside with Amanda. She learned to slide down the slide by herself. She loved it and did it over and over again. I loved it too. It was cold today but we get out anyway if it's not rain... This year I'm not pregnant so I can make some fitness and weight loss goals for myself. <BR> I bought an exercise ball and really enjoy working out on it. What I enjoy more is that my 20 month old daughter imitates me and tries to sit on her ball. That makes me happier than loosing 90lbs!
