Sun, 26 Mar 2017 10:10:08 EST Day 82: 6 Morning Rituals to Build Confidence Of late, I’m feeling a bit stalled in my wellness program. I know the Dos and the Don’ts…I’ve developed a fitness program that challenges me and has provided good results…I follow a nutrition program to support my wellness…but, I feel I’m missing the boat somehow and this is reflected in my stalled weight loss as well as my suddenly slow progress in improving my wellness.

I’ve been looking around for something to provide direction…a jump-start…a new beginning. This morning, I rea... Fri, 13 Jan 2017 11:25:27 EST Day 290: Happy Thanksgiving It is very common for us to take for granted the good that is already present in our lives - I know I certainly have.

Today, I will concentrate on finding joy in the small things instead of holding out for the big event(s) / achievement(s).

Also, as life throws it's little obstacles in my way, I will try to put them into proper perspective and ask myself these questions:

1. Thu, 18 Aug 2016 16:26:04 EST Day 184: My Goals 8.10-16 As is my wont, I fell off blogging - not because I had nothing to say but because my time has not been my own. Or, it actually has but I chose to spend that time on IFM - Intentional Fitness Minutes.

My #1 goal last week (8.3-9) was to walk a minimum of 12,000 steps every day for a minimum total of 80,000 weekly steps. While I missed the daily step count twice, I well exceeded the weekly goal at 95,589 steps.

With that kind of weekly number, I am both pleased and confi... Fri, 5 Aug 2016 12:50:22 EST Day 178: A Good Start to My Day I'm an inconsistent blogger...cause I never know what to write. In all of my many years, I've never had anyone ask me what I'm up to, what's going on with me, etc. - usually, they're telling me about themselves. So, I've no idea what about me might be interesting to others.

This is not a poor pitiful me statement - just a fact. I make it only to explain how my blogs hop-scotch from subject to subject with long breaks in between.

Earlier today, I wrote to a Spark frien... Then, I got busy and thot, 'oh well, one miss won't matter'...which led to another miss and another and then I noticed my fitness program slipping.

So, time to climb back up on that horse and make another run at success!

My 7.18.16 Fitness Program:

30 Day Butt Lift Challenge

<... Mon, 18 Jul 2016 13:52:48 EST Day 156: Thot for....A Lifetime The ordinary acts we practice every day at home are of more importance to the soul than their simplicity might suggest.
~ Thomas Moore

This was something I read on Sunday and said "Yeah...sure..." . But, today it is caught in my brain.

I sometimes silently bemoan some aspects of this life I've chosen - the repetitive activities which are seemingly unrecognized. Feeling this way, I'll allow myself to not manage these tasks....and havoc ensues !! And, when I do so,...
