When I don't start my day according to the routine, I tend to throw it all in the garbage can as I become a garbage can. 6 slices of bacon at breakfast! French fries and fried shrimp at lunch --- too much naughtiness approximately 6 short hours. I understand the principles of what they say but I find by eating at my desk, I don't go out on a food (or spending) bender after a stressful morning at work. By eating in and at my desk, I have had to fine tune food preparation and stocking up a large "picnic" carrier. I use freezer ice packs. I prepare my lunch and snacks in the... Wed, 27 Mar 2013 14:52:14 EST Doctor Visit went well http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5300806 3-26-13: Yesterday I went to see the doctor for my 6 month check-up (well, 7 months have passed) but at least I am finally keeping these doctor appointments. I have lost 12 pounds in those 7 months. I am still on blood pressure meds, but it is greatly improved. My attitude is starting to shift about this losing weight thing. I want to do more with this wonderful website and its tools. I go to one OA meeting a week. Fearful about embracing the food plan -- seems odd to go there but yet ... Tue, 26 Mar 2013 12:54:16 EST
