The weather has been crappy, my 4 yr old was puking and I haven't been feeling too hot myself. However I was happy that I made the effort to walk to the school twice, instead of driving. It was a beautiful day for it - warm & sunny. We were so glad that we finally bit the bullet and joined it. My two younger kids were able to bike the route while my husband & I jog to keep up with them. This is about the 3rd time that I have been able to go out for my jog without having to stop a few minutes into it because I couldn't catch my breath. It is a challenge to ourselves to get in 30 hours of exercise in 30 days. The exercise can be anything of our choosing; it just needs to be of at least moderate effort (blood pumping). It can be done in anything from 10 minute intervals throughout the day or even getting in 2 hours of banked (or catch up) on the weekends. <BR> <BR> I love these challenges!! I have been working at being healthy though. The sun was shining, almost all the snow is gone, and it isn't too wet. I took my 2-year old daughter for a walk tonight with my DH. It was great. We didn't go far (or fast, about a 30min mile pace). But we were out enjoying the beautiful March weather and each others' company. This could get to be a daily (or at least a couple times a week) occurrence.
