Tue, 20 Jan 2009 08:25:09 EST Big news Well, I haven't been doing much on SparkPeople lately. I've been feeling exhausted, too tired to do much physical activity. Guess why? I'm pregnant! Woo hoo! We had been trying for over a year. After getting my thyroid hormones under control, I got my fertility back. We'll be expecting our first child on March 1. Can't wait! I must say, though, I didn't think being pregnant would be so tiring! Tue, 5 Aug 2008 15:21:38 EST Updates Wow, I didn't realize it had been three weeks since I last posted. Well, I finished the Swimsuit Bootcamp workout, though we were out of town for the last week and I kinda fell off the wagon there. I haven't posted a new pic yet because I wanted to get my new swimsuit first! Road trip. 14 hours in the car each way. Sitting still. Snacking constantly - to stay awake, because of boredom, and because you never feel quite full unless you just gorged on burgers and fries. So I stepped on the scale this morning and it said 125!!! That's my goal weight! Not for the wedding actually, but home = Florida = BEACH = SWIMSUIT!!! I haven't worn a swimsuit in public since last summer when we went to the lake and that was IT for the summer - I think I wore board shorts over it, too, and it was a one piece, lol. I was doing alright at the start - Russ made me a homemade egg, ham, and cheese bagel before I headed off to my muster. Once there, I avoided the donuts at least, but got some fruit, a mini cinnamon roll, and a piece of pound cake. Could have been worse. I love SparkPoints :) I think it's great that you can earn them for doing all sorts of healthy things - tracking your food, tracking your fitness, educating yourself by reading articles and emails, logging in every day. What I think is really cool is that you can earn more points by posting on the message boards than almost anything else (cardio minutes are the exception). Since I've been home I've worked out every day, gotten in my 64 oz of water, and have been eating well. I wasn't as strict as I wanted to be, but I did do more cardio than normal, and watched my portions and made sure to get in my fruits and veggies.
