I like the idea of it keeping track of my activity for me. It seems to track all activities well. My problem is, I have to remove and reload the Connect program every time I need to upload any info to my Spark page. I have contacted help about this problem several times and I have not gotten a solution to the problem yet. They have suggested many things to try but all end the same. It works fine one time and stops. Does anyone else have this... Sun, 16 Sep 2012 16:56:27 EST A Day Off http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4488765 I had today off and have been on the go all day. When I am at work all I can think about is what I have to at home. When I am off and have time to do these things I end up going places and doing things away from home. Today I got my hair cut, went to lunch with my sister and niece, stopped to see my granddaughter, daughter-in-law and her mother. Then I went to the grocery store and DH grilled burgers. Now I am on Spark. Nothing has gotten done at home. I am working all weekend so I guess I wi... Fri, 16 Sep 2011 19:46:42 EST Leaves http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4487040 I am sorry to say that the leaves are not going to be bright and pretty this year. They have started to fall fairly quickly with our cooler temps, but they are brown and dry. I have so looked forward to a pretty fall and it has been too dry this summer to make it happen. It might be time to think about a road trip to go leaf peeking, as my dear old dad use to call it. Thu, 15 Sep 2011 18:52:42 EST Today http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4483321 I work at a marina, on a fairly large lake, which is on the Tn. Ky. border. Today was the perfect day to be on the lake. The weather was amazing, it was warm but not hot, the wind was calm, the water was like glass. If I could clone this day I would use it this winter, when it is cold and nasty outside. I can't clone a day so I will just have to remember there will always be more perfect days to come no matter how bad the weather gets. Just like life nothing stays the same and nothing last fo... Tue, 13 Sep 2011 19:55:56 EST Fall http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4480341 I am looking forward to Fall. It has been a very long, hot, busy and stressful Summer. Time for a change. I changed my page to fall colors, joined a 5% Fall weight loss challenge, and the Virtual Trick or Treat Trot 5K. It is going to be a good Fall this year. Mon, 12 Sep 2011 10:15:22 EST Weigh In http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3686399 Today we weigh, I didn't want to look at the scale. I have been working long hours and I haven't been eating, exercising, or sleeping like I should. I try to take healthy food or at least make healthy choices when eating out. I have become conscience of what I put in my mouth now, no more mindless noshing. I have not been able to do any hour long exercise sessions. I have been doing 10 min. of exercising at a time whenever I can fit it in through out the day. I try to relax and unwind in th... Sat, 2 Oct 2010 07:51:56 EST Day 5 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3678672 I have another 10 hr. day at work today but I am ready for it. I have my meals and snacks ready and I have planned exercise in small intervals spread out during the day. If everything goes as planned it is going to be a good day. I will see all my Spark friends tonight, have a great day everyone. Wed, 29 Sep 2010 07:06:05 EST Day 4 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3678298 I worked 11 hrs today and when I got home I did not want to do this. But I did exercise today and I wanted it to count. And I did want to read team mates blogs and write one. So here I am and I feel good that I have done this. And now I'm going to bed. I hope everyone had a great day see you tomorrow. Tue, 28 Sep 2010 23:07:37 EST Day 3 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3673179 I joined another challenge today, SparkPeople's Official 10-Minute Daily Exercise Streak Challenge. I am hoping this helps me get back on track, and it will add another 10 min. a day to my total. I do SP's 10 min. daily stretch and a 20 min. walk down my road and back, now I can add another 10 min. of exercising. I need all the pushing and prodding I can get to help me get back into a healthy routine, and help the Care Bears too. Have a GREAT 3rd day everyone. And remember Care Bears Rule!! <... Mon, 27 Sep 2010 07:18:46 EST Day 2 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3671035 Still trying to get into the swing of this Fall challenge. I haven't exercised for so long it is hard to force myself out the door. I am going to try to get a walk in before it rains. This challenge would be easier if the weather would cooperate. Sun, 26 Sep 2010 09:04:49 EST Day 1 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3668900 244 "Let's go Team"!

I am back on the Care Bears team and I am ready for the 5% fall challenge.

Sat, 25 Sep 2010 06:34:42 EST Another First http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3181624 Another first. I have a lot of first in my life; the first of the year, the first of the month, the first of the week, the first day of an exercise program, the first day of a diet, the first day of the 5% spring challenge and coming up the first day of the 5% summer challenge. Am I destined to repeat the first over and over again like I am stuck in the movie Groundhog Day? Doing the same thing again and again but changing nothing and accomplishing even less. May 1st, will this first be dif... Sat, 1 May 2010 08:51:37 EST March 8 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2972875 Today is my wedding anniversary. We are going to a Japanese restaurant for dinner. I don't know how I am going to count calories for today. I probably already blew it for today anyway, with the Eggs Benedict I had for breakfast. I am going to enjoy the day (it is sunny and warm for a change) and get back on track tomorrow. I only get one anniversary a year I intend to to celebrate enjoy it. Happy March 8 to everyone.
408 144 129 214
... Mon, 8 Mar 2010 11:18:49 EST crunches http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2968746 I started the 5% spring challenge yesterday and did 100 crunches. I surprised my self I didn't think I could do it. I didn't know if I could get down on the floor or get up if I did get down there. It felt great being able to accomplish 100 crunches(maybe not so much today I forgot how much it hurts the next day). I am going to make it part of my daily exercise routine. Thanks Care Bears for showing me I can do it.
104 306 Sun, 7 Mar 2010 11:30:19 EST 3/3 another start date http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2952175 3/3 another start date, last month it was 2/2 if I keep trying I'll get it right one of these months. This month I joined a spring weight loss challenge, I hope it will help keep me on track. Why is getting started so much easier than completing it? I am pushing forward another month, another goal, another attempt at success. Wed, 3 Mar 2010 09:15:38 EST Surveys http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2920449 I just got my first survey in my email. It was mostly about coffee and took maybe 5 min. to complete. It was kind of interesting and fun for a change of things to do. Has anyone else completed any other surveys yet? Wed, 24 Feb 2010 00:04:26 EST 2-1-1020 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2824881 I have just reset my goals and trackers. I am wiping the slate clean. A new month a new beginning. It is a beautiful day in the neighborhood today. I am on my way out the door for a long snowy walk.

249 Mon, 1 Feb 2010 10:57:35 EST
