I rush through getting ready for work, and took off without packing my lunch. So although I ate a healthy but quick breakfast, I totally missed lunch and any snacks through the work day. This is something I've struggled with in the past.

I just need to PLAN to avoid the issue. Tonight I packed a lunch and a healt... Thu, 7 Mar 2013 20:19:30 EST New beginnings http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5275514 I have a new beginning today. My background check FINALLY came in, and I go in for orientation for my new job this morning.

New beginnings and fresh starts are always exciting things. With each new beginning, a new horizon of possibilities opens up.

I think it is a great idea to look at each morning as a fresh start. There's kinda a problem with that, though.

There's no such THING as perfection. The belief, the knowledge, that we can get back to a healthy, strong place is a HUGE tool and all too often, we don't hold it close. I've spent entirely too much of my life giving in to the negative thoughts I allow into my head (just before I give up on my goal).

I know that if... Sat, 2 Mar 2013 09:04:25 EST Being present in the moment http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5268149 I've done a lot of thinking this morning, about how I have "started" this journey so many times, and one question comes to mind: How do I let myself fall back into bad habits over and over? Thanks to Spark People and other sources of information, I know exactly what it takes to take back my health. What possible excuse can there be that pulls ...
