Thu, 12 Jul 2012 03:37:49 EST Feeling Pretty Low Today http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4963357 Well I went and saw the job agency yesterday. They are putting me forward for a job, but DH thinks it is too far to travel each day. It is not the distance so much as that the route is known as a notorious bottle neck with holidaymakers in the Summer and for being treacherous if there is any snow in Winter.

I then went and signed on as unemployed. This was horrible and degrading, I thought it was so sad that in a department that is there to help poeple they needed to have several s... Thu, 28 Jun 2012 09:16:35 EST Wet bike ride http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4929143 Well this afternoon I got a little stir crazy from all the rain lately. It looked like it had stopped so I said to DH I was going for my quick ride to the end of the seafront and back (9 miles total ride). Well as soon as I got to the turn around the heavens opened. I was cycling back in to heavy wind and rain, it felt like cycling through treacle especially the bits where the wind has blown all the sand off the beach across the footpath. I got half way home and the roads were all dry again. ... Wed, 23 May 2012 04:44:09 EST Olympic Torch http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4890617 Yesterday afternoon I took YD in to Exeter to see the Olympic Torch Relay. It was great, loads of people a big screen in the shopping centre for those of us not lucky enough to have tickets to the Cathederal Green for the main concert - very weird as we were about 100yards from the concert so big cheers reached us about 1/2 second before the screen sound caught up. Managed to see the top half of the torch from about 10 yards, the streets were 6 deep in people near the end of the relay but at ... Mon, 21 May 2012 04:12:19 EST Update on the week http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4888241 I tried a week 2 C25K run this week. Went ok ish. Foot a little sore after, but last night we went to circuits and it was a new cicuit based on insanity workouts! Wow it was hard, but really fun. The floor ended up slippy because we all sweat so much! But this morning the foot is not as sore as it was the dsay after the run? and we did do some runs in the workout last night.

Eating has been better this week and showed in a small loss 244 so I plan to keep it up next wee... Sat, 19 May 2012 07:45:16 EST Oh Wow I ran! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4875081 Yes after almost 6 months plagued with PF and 3 weeks after the steriod injection I decided to try running again. I went on the treadmill in the gym and did 20 mintes doing week 1 day 1 of C25K programme and I did it. Only 2.13 km in the 20 mins but that was a great start. I slowly increased the speed of the jog phase on each rep from 8kph to 9kph.

The first run I think I set too slow and my ankles felt really stiff, but by the last interval when I was up to 9kph running felt great... Wed, 2 May 2012 08:16:26 EST Circuits Update http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4855817 After yetsredays blog, I received some great comments and support and people wanting to know how thwe circuits went.

Well firstly I survived! I was the only female in the class apart from the instructor. Luckily I have known her for years so she knew me and I what I could do. We stated with a short run (jog) outside and then to the circuits. Sat, 28 Apr 2012 06:44:38 EST 3 days later http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4854311 Well it is now just over three days since the steroid injection for my PF. I was pleased they did it that night. When the Doc did the ultrasound and confirmed the PF and said they recommended starting with the steriods I thought that with the NHS I would have to go on another waiting list and as it was 4 months from seeing my GP to getting to this stage I was concerned, but he went over to the side and got the steroids and got straight on to it. If this only works for a short while I will hav... You can't refuse a 13 year old who is really proud of all her hard work. they were delicious and she enjoyed it.

We managed to take some to my PIL and I put a few in the freezer...
