The BLC is going to be epic for me. I have sat down and had a heart to heart with myself, and there is no physical reason why I am still overweight. I know what and how to do it, I have support online and in my daily life so that only leaves me. My relaxed attitude gets in the way that and fear of success so I have to be aggressive and get tough with myself(in a loving supportive way). Here is what I am facing going into BLC 22
Weight: 302.4
Arm-15
Hips- 59.5
Waist-51.5 <B... I did 2 six week camps in the past but what was supposed to be a short break turned into a hiatus. My thinking was that during both camps I was always last on run days, and while everyone was very encouraging I didn't feel very encouraged. My goal was to sit out a camp, and increase my speed (You all know how that turned out). I said enough is enough and rejoined. The camp is 6 or 8 weeks depending on the time of the year but you can choose either option. It... Mon, 6 May 2013 18:23:35 EST Plans for the break I have finally accepted the fact that you can not out exercise a bad diet. People say all the time that losing weight is 80% diet and 20% exercise. With all that being said I have decided that my focus will be on that. I still plan on working out but nutrition will be where my head is at.

194 1/2 a gallon to a gallon a day.

267 Track my food daily.(stop using the excuse I didnt make it at home so I can't track.)

475 Sunda... Mon, 15 Apr 2013 12:59:05 EST I call today a Win!! I woke up ate a healthy breakfast, and then debated with myself for 2 hours about going to the gym. Still not totally convinced that I was going I put on my workout clothes anyway. I started to feel foolish so I went. Once there I walked around the track for 30 minutes, and then I got on the Precor AMT! That thing is the 18 . I was sweating after the first 2 minutes as if I had a full workout. I only lasted 10 minutes before getting on the Ellipitical. The entire time I was on the ... Mon, 28 Jan 2013 07:41:29 EST BLC 21 Week 1 at a glance It's Wednesday I woke up excited to weigh in, and see my work from last week validated. Imagine my suprise when the scale showed a 2 pound difference. I know I know its still a loss but I was hoping for at least 5 pounds. I then looked over what I did right and what areas needed improving, and was okay with my loss.

Things that were on point:
- I had a perfect score on the TNT
- I did great on the weekend challenge
- I got a pair of Nikes for LCW
- I drank a gal... My friend called me Thursday to discuss how she needed to start working out but that she needed to move her exercise equipment into her garage first. I asked her what was the hold up, and why she couldn't use the equipment where it currently was until she moved it. She answered by telling me that she wanted to turn that room into a guest room, and the hold up was that her garage was cold. I said well once you start moving your body will warm up or you could get a space heater and turn it on 3... Mon, 7 Jan 2013 01:11:50 EST Do I have to lose friends in order to lose weight????? I noticed that as long as I am alone I have no problem sticking to my planned meals, and drinks. I start to stumble when others are around I don't know if it is the temptation of what they get or if I just don't want to stand out. The past couple of days I have eaten out and yes I did stay within my calorie range it was the sodium, and the fact that I already had healthy meals prepared at home. I will start with Sunday. My friend calls me and tells me that she wants to discuss weight loss wit... Wed, 31 Oct 2012 22:59:55 EST BLC20 Almost there I started this round with what I thought to be realistic goals. I am not happy with the weight loss but I have picked up some very good habits. I have not thrown in the towel but I did lose some of my steam. I still have 6 weeks to really make this round count. I have started logging my food. I am still not at 100% but I am at about 80-85% and that is coming from hardly ever logging. has become my second stop after Sparkpeople. I spend too much time, energy, and money to continue to live as if I don't know how this should be done. I am going to use these 12 weeks as a spring board in the direction I want to move into, and in order to do that I need to address this from all angles. Wed, 12 Sep 2012 18:00:22 EST Meatless Mondays are back!!! I have been trying to get back to Meatless Mondays all summer. I woke up this morning and decided that even though BLC20 starts WednesdayI was starting today. I made great choices all day, and I feel great. They wanted to do longer but I figured that we should start with a short challenge to make sure that everyone's interest is held. We decided to weigh in every Sunday, and pay $5 each. The person who loses the most weight at the end of the month gets the money. My brother seems to think that just because he is a man that he will not have to do anything and that he still will win. I used my lack of weight loss to convince myself not to join camp this time. I have not gained any weight back but I have not lost anymore either. My problem is I have a great start record it is just that consistency that gives me problems. I have addressed this issue several times in the past come up withsome pretty decent alternatives, and still do not follow through. I hav... Sun, 20 May 2012 08:37:19 EST I Cherish you most today! I lost my mom on June 20,2011. There was little warning, and I still try convince myself everyday that we are just not speaking right now. Today would have been her birthday, and there is no pretending so for the first time I am putting my feelings in writing. I could not have asked for a better more supportive mom. Tue, 6 Mar 2012 22:38:45 EST Finally..... Fitness Camp Recap!!!! I don't have enough great words for fitness camp. I did things in camp that I would have never tried just working out alone. That is not to say that I enjoyed it all but it was all things that worked towards me getting more physically fit. Yoga was one of the things that we did that I can't lie I did not enjoy it at all. I could not do 90% of the poses but I am not opposed to trying it again. The cool down was great because it was dark, and we concentrated on clearing our minds and being in t... Sat, 25 Feb 2012 21:36:41 EST Not quite a lifestyle yet! This is the last week of fitness camp, and I have already paid for a second camp. I will do a total overview of the camp on Friday. My problem right now is my eating. Camp says that Sundays are our free day but I notice that by Friday I am sneaking little bites here, and there. I feel like I still have a diet mentality and instead of thinking I can have anything I want just in moderation, and on Sunday I start feeling like I am missing something even though rationally I know I am not. We are ... Mon, 13 Feb 2012 00:54:55 EST Today I jogged or rather wogged!!! My sister agreed at the start of my camp to walk with me on Sundays to help me improve my time on my Monday walk/runs. She has kept her end of the deal and for the last couple of weeks she has gone. Earlier this week I told her that we were going to jog some, and of course her face looked like I felt inside. Today we walked the first mile, and then coming back we walked one pole, and jogged or for people looking wogged to the next pole. We did this for half a mile. Whoohoo I am still excited.... Sun, 29 Jan 2012 22:43:37 EST Today was an Epic Fail! I started my day out great. Took my vitamins. I had oatmeal and peaches for breakfast. My part time job called and asked if I could take the girls to an event. I agree but the problem is that the place does not allow outside food and drinks in. I refused to pay their prices for water or food. We did not leave there until after 8pm which is supposed to be my cut off time for food. I was so hungry when I left that I went to McDonald. Yes I am still in my calorie range but it was a horrible day ... Sat, 28 Jan 2012 23:20:00 EST Question of the week. My brother had a get together at his house the other night just because. Fri, 27 Jan 2012 13:55:41 EST I am not sure exactly how I feel! I started a fitness camp on January 9,2012. The first day we completed our weight in, a 2 minute sit-up test and a 2 minute pushup test. We also did a 2 mile walk/jog/run which determines which group you are placed in for the camp. The walk/jog/run is through a hilly subdivision not to far from the camp. Blue is the last group, and I figured that was the group that I would be in. I completed 18 situps, and ZERO pushups because I can only do the "girl pushups" and those do not count. I came in... I have been feeling really lost for a while, and have been really trying to figuure out what direction in life I should be moving towards. I keep adding and taking away things from my life hoping that this will be the answer.
