We had our initial weigh in yesterday on August 1st and the challenge will go 4 weeks with weekly weigh-ins. The last weigh-in is Friday August 29th. The winner gets a $25 gift card. The most motivating factor for me is my coworker who claims he is going to win. I can't let that happen! The spark activity tracker was also down so I used that as an excuse not to wear it and even though it's back up now I still didn't wear it today. I have barely exercised at all this week and stopped tracking food because I've been eating so much. <BR> <BR> So, what am I going to do? I felt like I was getting in shape doing this but it's not really sustainable for me to have this as my goal every day. I am excited to be headed in the right direction again after gaining 15 pounds this past winter. The weight is slowly coming off now that I'm exercising and eating healthier again. This gives me a goal to meet every day and it feels great when I can post my exercise minutes and goals met in the team challenge. Instead of focusing on a big goal like "losing 20 pounds" or "fitting back into a smaller size" I can focus on getting my exercise minutes in every day and eating healthy.
