Deffinetly had an unexpected but welcomed surprise this morning when i stepped on the scale. I discovered I am down to 196.5! i had to step on it four times in four different places in the bathroom just to make sure! Needless to say i am extremely happy! I was expecting it to sky rocket because I went to the bar lastnight. Just thought i would share my good morning with you all!

Have a great day SparkPeople! 9 Sat, 28 Sep 2013 16:32:34 EST I finally broke the barrier! Hello Everybody!

I am extremely proud to say that i have finally broken the 200 barrier! As of right now i am 199lb and could not be happier! The pants i bought this summer for school are beginning to fit a little more loosely which is bittersweet. Regardless i have reached a really huge goal that i set for myself and feel more confident and motivated than ever!

Remember, your healthier than you were yesterday!

236 Mon, 23 Sep 2013 18:51:37 EST More than a Number It is 10 at night right now and I just finished my first ever HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout on the Turbofire DVD (not including the low HIIT which has no jumping) and I am sky high! I've got my chocolate protein shake in my hand and a smile on my face! The reason I am so happy is even though I was scared about trying this HIIT for the first time I put it in and not only did the workout like a champ, but every time I felt like turning the video off because it was too hard I w... Mon, 16 Sep 2013 00:16:47 EST Just a question! Hello all!

Back to college has been bitter sweet for me these past few days. I shall start with the down side.

This past week i have hit a bit of a plateau in my weightloss, hanging around 201.2-202.5. I thought that the last pound and a half would be gone by now but i cant seem to shake it. I know it has only been a week but i have been eating tons more fruits and working out just as much, if not harder by throwing in some other exercises. I may be a little worried ab... Fri, 6 Sep 2013 14:19:27 EST Hello Halfway! Alright, maybe not the EXACT halfway point but its so close I couldn't resist!

I never thought I would be saying this but I am down 30 pounds! it just sounds like a massive accomplishment to me, almost resume-worthy! Ok, so not really resume-worthy but you get the drift! I apologise in advance for all of the '!' that are going to be in here, I am just super excited!

Here I am, 6 months from about 230lb to 200lb, a weight I haven't seen since high school and man does it ... Thu, 29 Aug 2013 15:14:56 EST Happy, Shocked and Confused Hello all!

It has been quite a while since I have posted something. I may be a little rusty at this but here it goes.

Happy, shocked and confused. That is how I would describe my feelings on this journey right now. for those of you who haven't scanned my page as of yet I will give a brief overview of me. I am a 19yr old female who has always had weight issues. I began my journey at upwards of 230lb and am now hanging around 209 (20 pound loss). Now that you know the bac... Sat, 20 Jul 2013 20:27:36 EST Been a Couple Weeks But..... Alrighty everyone, so its been about two weeks since I worked out (excluding yesterday), but that is alright! I am proud to announce that I now fit back in to my most recently purchased jeans without needing an elastic band wrapped around the button! I am thinking that my pants size when I started this journey was about a 16 (even though I didn't want to admit it), so to fit into my size 14's that I bought last fall is a pretty big accomplishment for me! one pants size in a little over a mont... Tue, 26 Feb 2013 17:42:04 EST A Bad Weekend Serves as a Good Reminder So the bottom line is that this weekend i kind of fell off my plan. I had alot of homework so I stayed up late to study. The stress got the best of me and i over ate last night and tonight with some foods i probably shouldn't have. To top it all off i missed my Sat/Sun workouts. Oddly enough.... I'm glad that I did it. Im glad I feel like terrible for over eating and like a lazy couch potatoe for not running this weekend. Why? Because it is such a contrast to who I was and who I am working on... Today has been a little bit of a roller coaster, even though I like the mechanical ones I don't like the mind game ones. I woke up today feeling alot less sore than I was yesterday which made me happy, very happy! so I put on my scrub pants and I felt like (even though they are kind of stretchy) they fit better so I immediately start feeling like the skinny girl I know I am inside.

I felt amazing the majority of the day, I even caught a glimpse of myself in the bathroom mirror at s... Wed, 6 Feb 2013 00:27:33 EST Get one Goal, Make Another. Success! I have officially done 40 minutes on the elliptical as of today which came to about 3.2km or a jogging/running pace. I am very proud of myself at this point, I set a mini goal and I completed it! Go me! The completion of this goal has inspired me to make three more(talk about multiplicity!).Here are my new goals:

Goal 1: 5km on the elliptical which is about 60 minutes

Goal 2: 5km on the treadmill in 60 minutes or less

Goal 3: Run a 5km in less than 60... Sun, 3 Feb 2013 21:40:23 EST Bitter Sweet I am coming close to the end of my 3rd week of my journey and I am both loving the results and a little bit frustrated with them.

let us start with the positives, I am eating ALOT better than before and somehow have managed to maintain my good diet for these past few weeks. I am very proud of this because I used to give into temptation really easy or just plain buy chocolate bars because I was hungry, so good on me! Fitness has really become a part of my daily routine. No matter w... Sat, 2 Feb 2013 18:55:29 EST Diet: a regimen of eating and drinking sparingly so as to reduce one's weight The above title is a dictionary definition. Although it can be used a few different ways and have a few definitions, I am going to use it in the "I'm on a diet" way. I have been on all kinds of diets that make me do exactly as the above definition tells me. Supplement that with some too hard, too fast exercise and a dash of some "miracle pill" and you have my full past history of weight loss failure... times about eight. Eight is just a guess it has probably been more than that. I used to thi... Wed, 30 Jan 2013 22:42:49 EST Results in 2 Weeks that Diet Pills Can't Replicate! You read that right, I am getting results and it has only been 2 weeks since I began my journey! Although they aren't results a mirror can show me or that other people can even recognise, they are way better! They may have a specific name but for now I am going to call them my "Feeling" results.

I never would have imagined a few weeks ago that I would feel so different after incorporating some fitness and healthy habits into my life. Water is my main drink of choice, I always have... Tue, 29 Jan 2013 19:58:37 EST
