I am proud to announce that I now fit back in to my most recently purchased jeans without needing an elastic band wrapped around the button! I am thinking that my pants size when I started this journey was about a 16 (even though I didn't want to admit it), so to fit into my size 14's that I bought last fall is a pretty big accomplishment for me! one pants size in a little over a mont... Tue, 26 Feb 2013 17:42:04 EST A Bad Weekend Serves as a Good Reminder http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5245783 So the bottom line is that this weekend i kind of fell off my plan. I had alot of homework so I stayed up late to study. The stress got the best of me and i over ate last night and tonight with some foods i probably shouldn't have. To top it all off i missed my Sat/Sun workouts. Oddly enough.... I'm glad that I did it. Im glad I feel like terrible for over eating and like a lazy couch potatoe for not running this weekend. Why? Because it is such a contrast to who I was and who I am working on... Thu, 7 Feb 2013 20:39:38 EST Mirror-Self disconnect? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5239593 Today has been a little bit of a roller coaster, even though I like the mechanical ones I don't like the mind game ones. I woke up today feeling alot less sore than I was yesterday which made me happy, very happy! so I put on my scrub pants and I felt like (even though they are kind of stretchy) they fit better so I immediately start feeling like the skinny girl I know I am inside.

I felt amazing the majority of the day, I even caught a glimpse of myself in the bathroom mirror at s... Wed, 6 Feb 2013 00:27:33 EST Get one Goal, Make Another. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5236282 Success! I have officially done 40 minutes on the elliptical as of today which came to about 3.2km or a jogging/running pace. I am very proud of myself at this point, I set a mini goal and I completed it! Go me! The completion of this goal has inspired me to make three more(talk about multiplicity!).Here are my new goals:

Goal 1: 5km on the elliptical which is about 60 minutes

Goal 2: 5km on the treadmill in 60 minutes or less

Goal 3: Run a 5km in less than 60... Sun, 3 Feb 2013 21:40:23 EST Bitter Sweet http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5234807 I am coming close to the end of my 3rd week of my journey and I am both loving the results and a little bit frustrated with them.

let us start with the positives, I am eating ALOT better than before and somehow have managed to maintain my good diet for these past few weeks. I am very proud of this because I used to give into temptation really easy or just plain buy chocolate bars because I was hungry, so good on me! Fitness has really become a part of my daily routine. No matter w... Sat, 2 Feb 2013 18:55:29 EST Diet: a regimen of eating and drinking sparingly so as to reduce one's weight http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5230964 The above title is a dictionary definition. Although it can be used a few different ways and have a few definitions, I am going to use it in the "I'm on a diet" way. I have been on all kinds of diets that make me do exactly as the above definition tells me. Supplement that with some too hard, too fast exercise and a dash of some "miracle pill" and you have my full past history of weight loss failure... times about eight. Eight is just a guess it has probably been more than that. I used to thi... Wed, 30 Jan 2013 22:42:49 EST Results in 2 Weeks that Diet Pills Can't Replicate! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5229253 You read that right, I am getting results and it has only been 2 weeks since I began my journey! Although they aren't results a mirror can show me or that other people can even recognise, they are way better! They may have a specific name but for now I am going to call them my "Feeling" results.

I never would have imagined a few weeks ago that I would feel so different after incorporating some fitness and healthy habits into my life. Water is my main drink of choice, I always have... Tue, 29 Jan 2013 19:58:37 EST
