My place of work decided to reward us for a safety record.

As most of you know, my name is Marc, but that almost was something else.

I almost got named Tom, but for some reason, it was decided against being named that.

My brother wanted me named that, but then had second thoughts when my full name would be Thomas, as if that was something bad.

But then, I would have loved that name. It's the name of a famous saint and disciple of Chris...

It's the Christmas season, and other than the eating that I try to avoid, there are the Christmas specials which I just love. I start watching them in August, and can't get enough of them.

One of my favorite is Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, a classic, despite the fact that it has more bloopers than any other.

That is one of the hardest things I had to do in my journey to weight loss. Putting down the baseball bat that I used to beat myself bloody everytime I did something wrong, or gained weight, or didn't do it. I had that bat from long ago, when I hated myself for my obesity.

I'm trying my best to get to the next milestone of 100 pounds lost. I'm at 96, and seem to have been hovering around that number for the past month. Pound here, half pound there, this week I gained 0.2 pounds.

Could this be the dreaded plateau?
