Many great things take patience and time. A caterpillar doesn't go shopping for a pair of wings to try on, it has to go through a process of metamorphosis. The caterpillar is committed to staying in it's cocoon during the process and the end result is the most beautiful and delicate butterfly.

Well, it's my turn to metamorphosize. This fall and winter I am truly dedicating myself to my weight loss journey. What will be t... Wed, 23 Oct 2013 11:45:59 EST New Leaf Today is a new day! Today is an opportunity for a second chance! Today I am starting over, but that is okay! This time it will be different because I am different; I am more determined than ever, I have reviewed my mistakes, and ready to start making a difference in me.

I have learned that seeing your long-term goal in the distance and not seeing it get any closer can be very discouraging. I decided to make a "bowl"---like at C... Tue, 30 Jul 2013 16:41:01 EST Walking Challenge! I am apart of the Partnership Accountability to the Finish Line team and we have a July walking challenge that started today. I was really excited for this challenge and knew I could make it to 10,000 steps.

I was so excited that I kept out my pedometer on my nightstand because I wanted to make every single step count once my day started. I woke up, and clipped it to my PJ's and started my routine for getting ready for work. 746 steps...not bad. I start thinking this is going to be... Mon, 8 Jul 2013 19:22:51 EST Intense and Incredible I am proud of myself I decided to stop making excuses and workout. I found a kickboxing workout here and thought I'd give it a try.

I have a pretty sedentary lifestyle so I knew it would be a challenge. I started it and got into it thinking that it was easier than I thought it would be....and kicked up a lot. Mind you, I am not the most coordinated person...gravity just has this love for me that way...always wanting to pull me in closer. BUT! I did not let... Mon, 1 Jul 2013 23:32:44 EST
