This morning I started my day in a not so healthy way with some sugary cereal. I realized that, while most days my sugar cravings are not terrible, my sugar cravings were intense today. Most days begin with a bowl of oatmeal, but it's still sweetened by adding peanut butter. (I've recently become really obsessed with peanut butter.) I think that by starting my day with something sup... Tue, 5 Mar 2013 16:05:19 EST This Week :) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5264797 It has started out a tough week, but I've still been managing to get in my exercise. I started the week out with a cold, a hurt wrist, and sore gums. It has been unbearable especially the second and third on that list.

I missed my workout for yesterday which isn't that big of a deal since I'm supposed to take at least one rest day as a goal. I didn't exercise because the scheduled exercises and replacements that I was looking into involved putting a lot of weight on my wrist. And ... Tue, 26 Feb 2013 13:53:56 EST Workout for the Week http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5255409 I decided that blogging more may help me stay on track with sparkpeople than in the past. I've never blogged much on the site, but it is actually nice to be able to record my thoughts of the moment. Then I'll be able to look back when I get further down the road.

Anyway, I decided this post should include my workout plan for the week. I'm not a huge fan of cardio, but I try to get it regularly. I've chosen to attempt the fitness plan on the Tone It Up website. I did the first video... Mon, 18 Feb 2013 21:15:25 EST It Has Been a While http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5254061 So, I have much to discuss in this blog post. I was doing well before the holidays and starting my new semester. I was going to the gym every Thursday and working out for about an hour. I did more exercising, but that is what sticks out in my mind.

I had practically gained back all of the weight I lost in my first semester of the year. Towards the beginning of the semester I tried my first group fitness class 244 called Wake Up and Shape Up which my roommate and friend ... Sun, 17 Feb 2013 21:00:47 EST So Confused http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5023602 I've been looking into getting new exercise shoes, and I wanted some that would work for walking and strength training. The problem is that I'm extremely limited on money. I was looking at some shoes from the c9 Champion brand at target, and I came upon shoes categorized as interval shoes. I have no idea what interval shoes are, but would they work for what I'm looking at? And if shoes are categorized as activewear and running can they still be used for what I want for them? 24 Mon, 20 Aug 2012 15:38:47 EST Starting Strong http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5021972 I'm starting this week strong with exercise.
Earlier, after I finished the bootcamp workout, I was thinking that I should just relax for the rest of the day. But I decided to do an extra 13 minutes of lower body workout. Granted, the video was a full 26 minutes long, and I only did half of it. Throughout the video I pushed myself, and by the time it was over I was dripping with sweat.

I'm feeling 10 times better than before doing the extra workout. Even if the outcome is no... Sun, 19 Aug 2012 15:29:57 EST Frustration http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5019946 I'm a little frustrated today because the scale said that I've gained 3 lbs. I know it should not bother me because it isn't the deciding factor, but I really pushed myself this week. This week I've done over 5 hours of exercise so far, and I've been trying hard not to go over my limit on fats. I've even stayed on the lower end of my calorie limit all week.

But one positive thing I have noticed is that the muscle gained in my arms are starting to show. So, it has not been such a l... Fri, 17 Aug 2012 20:43:03 EST A Real Challenge: Sweet Tooth http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5000825 I just joined the Tame your Sweet Tooth team this week, and I'm realizing how difficult it is not to eat desserts aside from fruit. Unfortunately, my decision to join came a day after I made nutella fudge so it's been tempting me the whole time. I decided to give in once or twice, but I took very tiny servings of it when I did.

Besides that I have managed to decrease my amount of sweets, and I have even replaced it with something healthy a few times. It is really difficult for me ... Sat, 4 Aug 2012 14:18:17 EST Serious Working Out http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4997865 So, I've been thinking that I need to seriously work out, but the past week I've been pretty lazy about it. I have only gotten back into working out in the past 3 weeks so I'm not sure when I'll be able to do this workout. I decided I would share it on here. Also, it will help me remember to do it when I'm ready.

Fitness Blender 1000 Rep Workout: Challenging 500 Calorie Home Workout

http://www.fitnessblender.com/v/article-
detail/Fitness-Blender-1000-Rep-Workou
t-... Thu, 2 Aug 2012 11:19:33 EST Trips, Fun, and Foods http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4144411 After I finished the last blog I realized many other things that I didn't talk about, but wanted to get out there.

So I'm working on getting through the rest of this school year and actually do well which is reasonable. I made a pact with myself to get mainly good grades or there would be no Ocean City this Summer, and from the looks of it I'm getting almost all around good grades. You know what this means?

236
That's right. I'm going to be in Ocean Cit... Tue, 5 Apr 2011 14:04:20 EST College Life http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4142515 I've grown to realize the difficulty of college and losing weight. I have never thought that it would be easy, and it is actually easier than I expected.

The first few months being here it was a huge issue with all of the food choices, and I was constantly overeating. Now it is the amount of work that I have to do. There's no time for working out, let alone any fun time. It's as if there has been no time to do anything but schoolwork recently. I'm trying not to let the stress get ... Mon, 4 Apr 2011 20:49:43 EST
