I think that I really need to start focusing on the working out - not just on the being more conscious of the food I put into my mouth.
To be on track for my goal to be 130 by August 31st, I need to lose 12 lbs in the next 4 weeks. That's 3 lbs a week.
How am I going to accomplish this?
Cut out soda (I've been drinking way too mu... Tue, 31 Jul 2012 15:13:37 EST Wagons are hard to stay on http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4988180 Basically I didn't track any of my food intake, nor did I do any real exercise, for a whole week.
And, with family get togethers, I ate way more than I should, and definitely food I shouldn't be eating (cheesecake anyone?)
I weighed myself a couple days ago and was back up to 146. Not getting myself moving enough. When I finally replaced our bathroom scale, I weighed myself in at 150 lbs. That's the heaviest I've ever been. And, on my 5'2" frame, that's bad. Talk about depressing.

The good thing is that it gave me the kick in the pants to get started.

Starting Monday of this week, I've been doing really well. I've been watching what I've been eating more. I've also started measuri... Thu, 19 Jul 2012 13:58:33 EST Day One http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4943498 When I was 19 I weighed 116 lbs and could eat whatever I liked.
At 26, I'm almost 30 lbs heavier and my metabolism crashed somewhere along the way. Unfortunately, I didn't seem to stop eating, or learn to make healthier choices, and have struggled to stay in shape. I joined a gym and paid $40/month for a membership I wasn't using. My goal number and deadlines changed costantly.
But, with our hopes of starting a family - I want to be in the best shape possible - not only to help h... Tue, 26 Jun 2012 16:31:37 EST
