Today, I will get back at it on day 33. I haven't really seen any weight loss, but am feeling better and am developing muscle. I am going to work on the diet more as I have not been very good about healthy eating. Old habits are truly hard to break. I am going to try to add a little extra cardio as well. Mon, 1 Apr 2013 11:39:07 EST P90x Day 18 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5286249 I am not looking forward to yogaX today. It is my least favorite workout! I have been feeling disappointed because I had done P90x for 2 weeks and tweaked my diet somewhat (that is still a work in progress) and no results. However, today the scale finally moved by a couple of pounds and this morning I noticed that my arms are much firmer. Ok, now I have the motivation to keep going! I did P90x about 5 years ago and did not lose any weight until the second month. I think that at that time... Thu, 14 Mar 2013 09:00:48 EST P90x Day 9 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5274613 Today is day 9 on P90x...plyometrics. I have discovered that I dislike the Monday workouts the worst because of all the pushups. However, since I am unable to do pushups, yesterday I substituted bench presses. I am sore all over, in a good way. I don't really think I have lost any weight yet. Of course, my husband's pants are becoming looser. Well, good for him. My eating is still somewhat out of control, but I am getting better about tracking my intake and that is going to help me alon... Tue, 5 Mar 2013 16:35:21 EST P90x DAY 2 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5264258 Started P90x yesterday. It wasn't as bad as I remember from 5 years ago. I think that is because I did a bootcamp last summer and worked out harder than I ever thought I could. I am a little sore right now... Tue, 26 Feb 2013 05:32:59 EST 12/25 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3862041 Strength exercises today. I have been exercising not with th egusto that I had been originally, but am still doing it part time. I will continue on... Sat, 25 Dec 2010 20:13:34 EST Wednesday http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3846022 I did the sculpt routine today and it felt good. I have not eaten good food today though. I have eaten cookies and had two lattes with sugar ( I have a latte maker) and a Mountain Dew. I believe I am addicted to sugar. If I stopped having sugary drinks, I would lose weight without even trying. Anyway, that is all I have to say for today, except that I put up my Christmas tree and it is very pretty. Wed, 15 Dec 2010 18:17:52 EST Today http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3842950 I didn't do my workout over the weekend. Old Man Winter dropped two feet of on us and I was unable to get home. I worked 12 hour shifts overnight and stayed in town during the day. Monday I was not feeling well and also slept much of the day (due to having worked the night shift). Today is Tuesday. I am going shopping this morning with a friend, dropping my son off at school, and then I hope to get my workout in. I don't know what today will bring, yesterday was not so good. I have a lo... Tue, 14 Dec 2010 07:47:26 EST Power 90 day 3 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3836423 Ahhhhhhhhhhhh......! Exercise makes me feel good about myself. I am still sore from day 1, but today went well anyway. I did sculpt level 1. I like this program because I can keep up, even though I am out of breath and occasionally need to take a 5 second rest. Anyway, my shower felt good after such sweaty exhaustion and now I am back in my stretchy pants. Someday, I wont wear stretchy pants. Or maybe I will, they will just look better. I will wear them because they feel good, not bec... Fri, 10 Dec 2010 13:32:08 EST Day 2 Power 90 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3835445 A few years ago, I started a workout program called P90x. It is a 90 day program and I was able to stick it out almost until the end. It was a very difficult program and I did not put into it the effort that I should. However, I lost 16 pounds and my body became more toned than it had been in many years. Since the completion of that program, I have made a few attempts at it again, but have only been able to eek out enough motivation to get through one or two of those grueling workouts (the... Fri, 10 Dec 2010 00:21:55 EST discouraged http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3204697 yes, I am feeling discouraged today. I am in a Biggest Loser contest at work so I weighed in on Tuesday. Gained 4 pounds. My eating has been out of control, mostly just eating sugary food or going out to eat a lot. I haven't worked out in over a week. I'm not feeling sorry for myself at all, just wondering what it will take for me to stop these bad behaviors. I have an elliptical, treadmill, and all the weights I would ever need. I have bands, exercise balls, new tennis shoes and worko... Fri, 7 May 2010 10:45:45 EST work vs. workout http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2911579 I am almost finished working my 7th day in a row (I guess I should say "night"). I love Monday mornings after a long weekend. I have not worked out in many days because I have slept all day and felt yucky when I was awake at home. When I am working nights, it seems like the only time I am not really tired and feeling crappy is when I am at work. I know that plenty of other people work odd or long shifts and still manage to live life or get in a workout. Not sure why I can't seem to do it.... Mon, 22 Feb 2010 04:42:45 EST Today http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2870504 I started the couch to 5k program this week. I started with week one but found that it wasn't challenging at all so I skipped to week 2 day 1, which is what I did today. So in all, I spent 35 minutes on my treadmill and then another 32 minutes on my elliptical. I also used one of my 10 minute solutions videos to work my arms and abs. I feel pretty good about my workout. I should not have had a second latte this morning and wish I didn't like them so much. At least I have almost completely s... Thu, 11 Feb 2010 14:25:27 EST
