Delish! Sat, 19 Jan 2013 09:20:03 EST Ish http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5212128 Stuck to my plan today, but didn't really exercise b/c it was really cold and yucky outside. No excuse for not walking inside, but I didn't. Tomorrow is another day, and supposed to be a sunny one, too, so I'll get back in gear then. For tonight, I'm watching the finale of Haven, finally! Thu, 17 Jan 2013 21:10:27 EST It's Raining Again http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5210106 Glad for the rain because we need it, but it's raining hard enough that I'm not terribly thrilled about the idea of going for a walk in it today. I'll have to find something else to do for my ten minute exercise streak. Shoulders are a little sore from lopping grape vines yesterday evening. Kinda bummed that when I weighed this morning I was only .2 pound down from last Wednesday. I know that is better than gaining or even maintaining, and I'm already slightly ahead of my 1 pound a week goal,... Wed, 16 Jan 2013 13:40:52 EST Tuesday Afternoon http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5208953 Ow. Raked more leaves. Lopped a bunch of grape vines. If there is anything more tenacious than wild grape, I don't know what it is. Kudzu, maybe. Hoping none of it was poison ivy. That would be bad.

Oh and I walked my half a mile, too.

Ow. Tue, 15 Jan 2013 19:59:03 EST Come Monday http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5207315 Too tired to blog much. Stuck to 2 pieces of pizza last night, and it was excellent. Homemade whole wheat crust is yummy, will definitely stick with that from now on. Stuck to my plan today, didn't go over or under anything, including the fiber goal. Yay! Kids got all their school work done, and I raked some leaves this afternoon. Early bed time tonight.

102 Mon, 14 Jan 2013 20:12:53 EST Ai ya... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5205391 My kids requested pizza night, so that's what we're making. Pizza is one of those trigger foods. I'm making 2 batches of dough, one white and one white whole wheat. I will of course eat the whole wheat. And I'm having a salad too so hopefully I won't overindulge on the pizza. Wish me luck! Sun, 13 Jan 2013 17:43:07 EST keep pushin' http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5205002 Instead of a blog entry, I offer you song lyrics that are quite fitting for my situation (except for the living alone part and being a man part):

Keep Pushin' by REO Speedwagon

I used to be lonely till I learned about livin alone
I found other things to keep my mind on
And I'm gettin to know myself a little bit better
Whoa , I keep pushin on
Keep pushin on, yeah

Goin through all the changes I made so many mistakes, oh yes I did
T... Sun, 13 Jan 2013 12:40:26 EST Saturday In the Park http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5203552 I like to blog with song titles as my entry titles because if I just used something relevant to what I usually blog, it would be something along the lines of "same old same old". So I'm not actually in the park. But I liked Chicago. Had a few albums of theirs eons ago.

Currently I'm keeping one of the dogs company. Or he's keeping me company. I'm not really sure which. And I'm enjoying a few quiet moments before I have to go pick up the kids from GiGi's house, where they spent las... Sat, 12 Jan 2013 12:05:32 EST sleepy sleepy time for bed http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5201332 Decent day. Did my walk. Made mostly decent food choices. Didn't get enough fiber, still, but I'm working on it. Got an entire day's worth of school done and then some with the 6yo. Too tired to blog about much else. Ready for the weekend!

102 Thu, 10 Jan 2013 22:44:00 EST whew http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5199527 I started to sit down and write that this was the first moment I've just sat and did something that didn't have anything to do with homeschooling, chores, or weight loss. But then I decided to listen to Spark Radio. I'm listening to the segment about New Year's resolutions, and how they should be reasonable. I'm not a big one for resolutions, anyway, but I have made those kinds in the past...the "I won't drink Coke anymore ever, or I'm cutting out sugar entirely, or I will lose 100 pounds thi... Wed, 9 Jan 2013 21:29:25 EST just a check in http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5197864 Still here. Still truckin. Kinda skipped the weekend, but on plan (mostly) as of yesterday, and today has been a good day. Stayed under my limit, did 20 minutes of walking, got most of the stuff done around the house.

My least favorite questions are "what's for dinner tonight?" and "do we have anything for dessert?" My kids act like they don't have eyes in their heads sometimes. My new standard answer to the dessert questions is "fruit." As for what's for dinner, we get stuck in a ... Tue, 8 Jan 2013 22:34:13 EST
