I think I finally got flossing twice a day permanently ingrained in my head where if I miss one, it will bug me. The habits I'm working on now are practicing my ukulele at least 30 min a day. And recording meals 3 times a day. Perhaps if I start with recording 1 meal a day then I can work up to 3. Reading nutrition labels, ingredients, cost variances, how to modify (ex if you have canned veggies instead of buying full salt you can buy the no salt or buy the full salt and rinse them after taking it out of the can which gets rid of 40% of the salt). The school is doing a 7 week healthy cooking class for families. If you attend all the sessions then you get a kitchen knife plus the recipe book. Woohoo. My team came in 9th place out of about 200 people. To be in the top 5 you had to work out every day for 90+ minutes and eat 7+veggies a day. I wasn't THAT gungho. I did 60 min most days and got 5 veggies a day in. My partner walks 2 hours a day so that wasn't a problem for her and she got the 7+ veggies in.
