After struggling for several months, I find these games to be helpful in getting the fun back in my program. Thanks Gutzmom for recommending the dance series. I've decided to use my Wii more often on my fitness journey as it's one way for me to have fun and get my heart beating at the same time. Played yesterday for an hour and felt awesome afterwards. I will talk to my doctor about both these products....especially chia seeds since they can thin blood in some people and I'm already on fish oil and aspirin therapy. This one by Jessica Smith was easy to follow and doable for me...with a little modification. It's only ten minutes long and I did it three times throughout the day. I am a morning person and I love getting my walks, cardio and strength training done in the morning. So far I've gotten 45 minutes of walking , 25 minutes of toning/strength training done and a 15 minute WATP session completed. Since I start getting worn out in the early afternoons, I am making sure to get up every 30 minutes and move my body. It was to cold to walk long today without my winter coat so I set the alarm and walked around the block every hour until I had completed 8 times around. I have completed 77 days of walking out of 79. My dietitian suggested I try Quinoa so I am trying it for the first time today. I must say I did not like the texture of it but the jalapeño stole the show anyway. lol. Since Quinoa is actually a seed but acts as a grain I will add it to my menu. I've been trying to stay busy since I was losing out to binge eating. The cravings were worst than ever. Visited a Dietitian and she felt every thing seemed okay with the foods I am eating and gave me some suggestions for when the cravings hit and even how to handle things when I do binge. My morning started out stressful but I managed to turn it around. Saw the dietitian and had a good chat but failed to eat breakfast before I went and was so hungry when I got back. I rushed breakfast and burnt my sausages but ate them anyway. lol Then went to a meeting discussing our rent change...I was worried but it turned out to be better news than I thought. Did my strength training and then had a great lunch. Now I know I don't have the correct form, so I will make sure to get more information before I do them again. A trainer did show me correct form to help my knees but I keep reverting back to the wrong way. Modification for me is the key. <BR> <BR> For the rest of July, I will add 100 squats to my strength training days... M - W- F. If I use the correct form, my knees should be okay...
