This isn't my first time at the rodeo, I keep coming back to the starting line, trying (seemingly in vain) to lose the weight I desperately need to lose.

I am 42 years and 5.5 months old as of today, I am married without children, and I am struggling. Mentally and Physically.

Dealing with depression and anxiety (finally got some medication today, hopefully in a few weeks or so I'll start to feel it kick in), but the biggest obstacle I have right now is physical. My... Tue, 16 Jul 2013 21:40:06 EST Plugging along http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4505725 So, I'm doing well with the tracking of food so far, but I'm not as on top of it as I'd like to be so I'm giving myself some more lead up time before I start making more changes to my food/diet.

I'm also ramping up my Google+ account, hoping to switch from Facebook eventually, it's actually a combination of fun and confusing on there, just like on here! LOL But it's coming along. :)

Hubby's on campus studying and then going to class so I'm hanging out with my laptop and ... Mon, 26 Sep 2011 21:40:45 EST Tap...Tap...Tap...is this thing on...? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4503470 Umm...yeah...I haven't been on here in over a year and a half. (sheepishly hanging head in shame) But I'm back and I'm trying again. Makes me sad to think that I started this 1 year and 7 months ago, if I had stuck with it where would I be physically by now? Maybe I would be approaching my ultimate weight loss and health goals, but you can't dwell on the past, you have to move on and try for the future! :)

So with that I am starting again! I have gained weight since my first attemp... Sun, 25 Sep 2011 18:46:38 EST Slept in today http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2913549 For some reason when we woke up this morning my hubby and I were still exhausted, unfortunately he had to go to work so he dragged himself out of bed and headed out. I usually get up and stay up, only sleeping when he's home, I feel it's only fair to be up when he's up, but today I saw him off and then went back to bed sleeping another 3 or so hours - until he called to say hello, in fact.

When I told him I'd done that he knew right away I wasn't feeling well, I don't nap unless I... Mon, 22 Feb 2010 13:59:50 EST Not feeling too good http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2908291 Not sure what's going on with me, but my tummy hasn't been happy the last few days for some reason. Granted I do have acid reflux and a nasty version of IBS (I get lightheaded and dizzy and nearly pass out whenever I have a flare up), but over the last week, or thereabouts, I just have not been feeling well. It doesn't seem to matter what I eat I don't feel right after I've eaten it, nausea is a definite, so is an incredible amount of gas, and I've had some random cramping as well. *sigh* <BR... Sun, 21 Feb 2010 09:58:28 EST My Biggest Downfalls http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2905117 My hubby works long hours, he's gone for an average of 11 hours on a day when he works, and in that time I do nothing but watch TV, surf the internet and eat. I lost my job in late August so I no longer have that Monday through Friday routine, it helped me control my weight because it kept my mind busy, with my mind idle I get bored and being bored makes me want to eat even when I'm beyond stuffed.

What I need to do be doing is moving - Sweatin' to the Oldies, walking on the treadm... Sat, 20 Feb 2010 11:05:46 EST Yikes http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2903223 Just used the Nutrition Tool to see what I ate today...needless to say my day was very very bad. :(

I admit I was weak and ate Stouffer's Macaroni & Cheese throughout the day for lunch, snack and dinner, finally finishing off the entire 40 0z box...it's a depressing thought actually, to think that I ate that whole thing when I had purchased it to be used as a side dish with some turkey meatloaf I was going to make for dinner for my hubby and me some night. :(

I'm feelin... Fri, 19 Feb 2010 19:41:44 EST Uhhh hello there http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2903073 Hi.

I'm new to this, can you tell? My page is mostly empty, my goals are lofty and I'm praying for continued motivation! I have never really put any effort into losing weight or getting healthy, but I am recently married (3 months today, actually) and due to my age I feel like if we want to have any children we need to get started as soon as we possibly can. But being a morbidly obese pregnant woman is such a bad idea, for me and the baby. So here I sit, Googling for free online d... Fri, 19 Feb 2010 18:44:33 EST
