Honestly, I haven't stopped thinking about it since!

I do not feel strong. I feel weak much of the time.

I know I have a problem saying yes when I want to say no. I avoid things because I don't want to hurt other's feelings. I forgive when perhaps I shouldn't. I let people take advantage of me.

Sometimes I feel sad... Sat, 1 Jun 2013 11:36:42 EST Day 6 - 10 lb Slimdown Extreme http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4991192 Holy mackerel! Lesson learned!!! Don't expect your end-of-the-day workout will be a good one when you don't eat properly during the day! Not that I ate terribly today, but I really didn't give any thought to tracking, making sure I was getting enough protein and carbs, etc. And tonight's workout ended up being tough!

Today I did the 40 minute Upper Body Extreme, which is one of my favorite workouts, followed by 22 minutes of Lower Body Recovery. Ummm, let's just say there's no... Sun, 29 Jul 2012 01:27:53 EST Day 5 - 10 lb Slimdown Extreme http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4989612 Today was Kickboxing Cardio Extreme again - love it!! Didn't eat the greatest breakfast today, but got in some good protein for lunch and will eat a good dinner (I'm heading to the grocery store shortly).

I'm definitely noticing a difference in my cardio capacity since I started back with a regfular workout schedule a few weeks ago. Fri, 27 Jul 2012 17:05:11 EST Day 4 - 10 lb Slimdown Extreme http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4988691 Yay for yoga day!! It was so nice to stretch after leg day, lol! This workout was about 40 minutes long and was a nice combination of some of the familiar yoga poses. So far I'm feeling pretty good this week! Tomorrow is kickboxing and Saturday is upper body with a lower body recovery workout - sounds like a great combination! Sunday is rest day, or some sort of recovery - might do some walking if it's cool enough. Fri, 27 Jul 2012 01:21:11 EST Day 3 - 10 lb Slimdown Extreme http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4987119 Before I talk about my workout today, can I just so how very, very, very much I prefer fresh veggies to frozen??? I didn't have enough carrots to feed everyone and John wanted to save the corn for tomorrow night, so I pulled out a bag of frozen broccoli. And... just yuck!! Give me fresh veggies any day, please! 69

So today's workout was 40 minutes of Extreme Lower Body plus 10 minutes of Bonus Abs. Lower Body - what can I say?? I have such a love-hate relationship... Wed, 25 Jul 2012 23:04:28 EST Day 2 - 10 lb Slimdown Extreme http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4985274 So, my buns were a little sore from yesterday's workout and I had a little bit of soreness in my chest from flies (I went heavy), but overall I felt pretty good going in to today's workout. On tap today was Kickboxing Cardio! Let me just say that kickboxing is my ABSOLUTE most favorite workout - I LOVE it! Can you tell?? 216

This workout truly was a great cardio session! Within a few minutes of warming up my heart rate was up and pumping! The workout combines punche... It's hard to improve yourself if you don't push past your current abilities.

"Winning isn't everything, but wanting to win is." ~ Vince Lombardi

This one has been particularly relevant to me recently. I just started playing softball on a rec league with one of my favorite Sparkers!! Neither of us have ever pl... And, more importantly, I tell myself this when I don't think I can go any further. Breaking things down in to small, 30 second chunks makes it much easier to get through - both physically and mentally! Wed, 22 Jun 2011 19:34:03 EST Inspiration #3 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4313828 “Release the need to blame anyone, including yourself. We’re all doing the best we can with the understanding, knowledge and awareness we have.”

Louise L. Hay

Today's inspirational quote reminds me that if I fail or don't meet the goals I have set for myself, instead of blaming myself and getting bogged down in negativity, I should instead acknowledge my failures, gain the knowledge I need to succeed, and carry on with my journey! Tue, 21 Jun 2011 17:46:06 EST Inspiration #2 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4310127 Today's inspirational quote comes from a fantastic athlete! I read this and am motivated to start TODAY! So often we tell ourselves we will start working out tomorrow, start eating right after our birthday, make a plan next weekend, etc. Instead of putting off what we can do NOW, make every moment count, make every day GREAT!!

"I take nothing for granted. I now have only good days, or great days." ~ Lance Armstrong Mon, 20 Jun 2011 09:47:04 EST Inspiration #1 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4309389 Wasn't sure when I first read this if it was inspiring or a little depressing, but I decided to go with the former and take this as a reminder to take things one day at a time!! At the very least take the first sentence to heart, particularly on days that may be more trying than others.

"It's not hard to live through a day, if you can live through a moment. What creates dispair is the imagination, which pretends there is a future, and insists on predicting millions of moments, tho... Sun, 19 Jun 2011 22:37:11 EST Hi! Full fat, lactose-free, coconut milk, etc. - you name it, I will eat it! There is just something about the taste and feel of that creamy, cold goodness! YUM!!! I could literally eat it every day - or at least more than once a day. And unfortunately I have... 39

As much as I love ice cream, though, we all kno... Fri, 17 Jun 2011 18:32:59 EST NOW Challenge - Day 4 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4266288 I realized recently that one really bad habit I have that has prevented me from reaching my goals is not tracking on SP! It was a sneaky little thing that happened. First I got busy when I learned we were moving and only had a number of weeks to get ready. Then we had moved and were trying to get things situated. Work has been RIDICULOUSLY busy, too, just compounding things. And before I knew it, my tracking was sporadic at best. What I was guessing was a good meal plan for a day off th...
