I've been tracking my food and walking every day. The darn scale just will not move.

WHAT I'M I DOING WRONG?

I'm eating within my calories, healthy good food, no junk. Lots of veggies very little bread, no pasta.

I walk every morning at least 30 min every day. The temperatures have been in the high 80 and 90's for months so walking is a sweat-fest. Mon, 9 Jun 2008 22:00:29 EST White dress and Red shoes?? Let me start by saying "Thank you Patty for sending me the picture"

My goal since starting Spark was the "little white sun dress". If you have read any of my recent blogs or my main page you have heard about it.

This picture will be a reminder that I made it. The red shoes I had but when Carol sent me the goody of the red shoes I had to put them together.

I still have pounds to go to reach my goal, but do I really need to go to that weight? I'm 15 pounds from my goal weight, which was approximately what I weighed when it fit last time. Lean muscle ROCKS!!

I was getting frustrated. The scale wasn't moving as fast as I wanted and neither was the tape measure. Now I know why. I'm in better shape now than I was on my 40th birthday.

252 244 247 252 9 Fri, 23 May 2008 12:16:13 EST On the road to slimmer, already at healthier and happier. Today is Day 18 of Boot Camp, over the half way point.
I have been doing the “Swimsuit Boot Camp”. I haven’t loss weight and the tape measure isn’t showing any real progress either. The video’s are getting easier, with the exception of Day 1 video. That one kicks my butt every time I try it.
I’m 20 pounds away from my final goal. I have been using “The 10 percent Solution”,

ion_articles.asp?id=454

The 10% solution... I wanted to use this opportunity to help answer a few questions and explain a little more about the Bootcamp. Sun, 4 May 2008 12:35:02 EST It's offical I'm now a co-leader of the Rockford Sparks. Patty and Stacey thought I would be a good addition to the leadership team. I'm so flattered.

I little about me. I'm 40 something, happily divorced for over 15 years and currently in a long term relationship for over five years. Three mostly grown children, two girls 21 and 20, and a 18 yr old son still at home. Well he gets his mail here and I find lots of dirty dishes and laundry. So I guess he lives here. I'm kidding, he lives here an... Thu, 6 Mar 2008 12:41:43 EST Basal Metabolic Rate My Basal Metabolic Rate is 1378

I’m I risking starvation mode when I go so low on daily intake or does it balance out cause I go so high on intake on other days? I average 1260 calories daily over the last month. Some days I have been as low as 800 calories and other days as high as 2700.

Or is this why my metabolism is so screwed up? I have been do the cardio and not re-consistent on the strength training.

The more research I do the more confused I get. <... Tue, 30 Oct 2007 22:45:05 EST Cannas, Glads and Dahlias dug up Spent 3 hours 45 minutes digging the summer bulbs. I don’t remember making that bed that darn big. That’s my work out for the week and than some. I’m sure I’ll be sore tomorrow. Another hour taking care of one small bed, cut back and cart to the compost pile.
Got potatoes to dig yet. And put the garden to sleep for the season. Plus other yard, and flowerbed things to do. Not sure when I’ll get to it. No days off this week and have go up north next weekend. Haven’t looked at my rose b... Sun, 28 Oct 2007 19:06:08 EST My exercise routine, Went to the side of the road Being in pain all week has hurt my exercise routine. Found a great article.

ess_articles.asp?id=393

Inspirational to help get me back on track again. I a little scared that if I do to much I’ll be back where I was last weekend. I have done the upper body and a few easy lower body and core exercises, I don’t feel it was enough to try and log.
I have to work tomorrow, so weather permitting I have LOTS yard work to do. Weath... Fri, 26 Oct 2007 21:35:38 EST My aching hip and knee. I haven’t been doing very well lately. Too many temptations; that I have fallen victim too. My fault, cause I caused them and choose to succumb to them.
I know with the holidays coming the parties (alcohol) will be my down fall. My family tries to cook healthy, low fat, low calories, high fiber, etc. Than add a bottle or two of wine or the locally brewed Leinenkugels beer.
The weather change has started my hip and knee hurting again, to the point where; I left work yesterday at ... Tue, 23 Oct 2007 10:08:22 EST No changes on the scale or the tape measure. No changes on the scale or the tape measure. My bad I haven’t been doing the scheduled exercises. Been crazy around here, I’m not sitting in front of the TV munching chips. Shampooed carpets, rearranged furniture, move the dog crates; catch up on laundry and general housekeeping, still did some cardio, but not my normal amounts. No change is better than increases on the scale or tape measure.

With the sleep issues that I’m trying to beat I don’t want to be exercising before bed. <B... Fri, 19 Oct 2007 08:26:46 EST Great weekend for me NOT for the diet Went to visit the family in northern Wisconsin this weekend it was great to see everyone. Blew the calories out of this world. Made a few healthy choices, the beverages are where I didn’t. Had champagne brunch at Fanny Hill in Eau Claire on Sunday. Great food lots of choices, we still managed to leave town by noon. Stopped in Madison on the way home did some shopping. Sun, 14 Oct 2007 21:22:48 EST Back to work week Had Monday off from work.

Back to work today only working 4 days this week. Stress relief.
Tue, 9 Oct 2007 22:07:05 EST need to get more sleep Weekend was a lazy one. Still didn't get enough sleep.

Monday was normal at work. Moments when I hate my job, other times not so much. Except zipper got stuck on my pants, Good news it wasn’t cause they were to tight, just a bad zipper and 10 minutes in the ladies room.

Still not getting the sleep I need. NEED to work on that goal. Anything over 7 hours would be great.
Mon, 1 Oct 2007 20:51:12 EST Hamlet sleeping off the surgery still... Hamlet is doing great after his surgery. Napping with Daddy helps all boo boos feel better. So do the puppy painkillers. What’s Sweeties excuse? It’s Sunday, and he’s been out of town all week. Got to catch up on sleep and puppy time.
