Last week I started light jogging. I was very impressed with myself as I thought I wouldn't even be able to jog 1 or 2 minutes. I jogged for 10 straight minutes. I was pretty proud of myself for that. So now the goal is to work out 6 days a week and run for 20 minutes on M, W, F at 10 minute intervals and walk 30 minutes for a total workout of 50 minutes. My plan as of right now is to start exercising TODAY! I'm going to start walking atleast 30 minutes a day at a good pace. After the month is up I'd like to try the C25k program. I'd really love to be able to run so I'm going to try. my new goal is to be at 150 by my birthday. I don't know if that's attainable or not but I'm going to try and any progress made along the way is better than nothing. Gonna try and stay motivated this time! I started slacking and not staying motivated. But I told myself that I'd like to atleast be 190 before my cruise which is on the 22nd of this month, so really really soon. And I've been weighing myself everyday and can't seem to get off of 198. I can't seem to even break 195 so how am i suppose to break 190. I look at my last blog which was over a month ago and I am no where near that motivated anymore. I haven't worked out in the past week. I stopped doing the last chance workout about 2 weeks ago. I tried to keep up the exercise though by just going walking. Slowly but surely I'm falling right back into the old habits and I'm stuck at 199/200 range. I see all these people around me that are big and aren't losing weight and they say they are trying. Losing weight is easy, it's the fight with yourself that is difficult. It came to me that most people fail because they are not consistent. They start a diet for a few weeks to a month and don't see results so they fall back into the same old routine. Now seems to be a great time to start with it being a Monday and the beginning of a new month. The last time I used the dvd I think I did lose weight but I wasn't weighing myself and may have already lost the weight before starting the dvd and just didn't notice. My goal right now is to lose the 30 lbs. the dvd says you can lose. I know that the dvd is only for 6 weeks but I'm going to keep doing it all the way through the end of Nove... I've never been so motivated before to stick to exercise and diet. Being diabetic and having to take all these medications because of it just doesn't sit well with me. I got some what I consider bad news yesterday from the doctor. Looks like my thyroid isn't right. It just made me lose faith in everything I've been doing.
