BLMHOUSTON's SparkPeople Blog BLMHOUSTON's Blog on SparkPeople, home of free diet plans and a healthy living community Back pain = no exercise This is a first for me - back pain. Never had any idea what it would feel like to have a low back injury and now I have tons of respect for those that live with chronic back problems. It started on Saturday after returning from San Antonio - a 4 hour drive. Maybe sitting in the car that long caused it - but I really have no idea. It became progressively worse until I went out for a jog and got just about 3 steps before giving up. I got almost no sleep last night or the night before ... Thu, 27 Sep 2012 19:13:37 EST What a weekend - fun, food, food, food I was doing so well last week - 2 pounds lost, which is quite a miracle for me, feeling good, on track with Sparkstreaks, tons of water, running 3 times a week.... then Friday happened - and I apparently left the planet for about 24 hours. First week - not so much. Then I decided to give it a try. I have now reached a streak of 4 days drinking 8 glasses ... As I stepped on the scale this morning I was so hopeful - just a pound or even half a pound would be so awesome and rewarding. But no, one pound up. My heart sank... propped myself back up and recommitted, but still, why is this so hard? I guess I'll focus on staying at the lower end of my calorie limit and keep exerci...
