Not just what I am going to eat, but what I am going to do if I get bored that does not involve eating. <BR> <BR> One of my biggest enemies is boredom. Tue, 22 Jan 2013 09:47:43 EST Fell off the wagon this weekend This weekend was a ton of fun! I went to visit friends down by my parents on Saturday and then went shopping on Sunday in Plattsburgh. Our shopping days are pretty extensive because the nearest big name stores are an hour away, so we make a day of it. Just after I was firmly convinced if I said it was easy and kept thinking it would be easy that it would be easy. The plus side is that between not smoking with the group after staff meeting, not eating a single peice of the two bowls of candy and donuts passed around at the staff meeting and not ordering lunch with the group I have made some very good decisions. After a couple of days of really watching my calorie intake I am finding my sugar cravings are going down. I've been trying to eat mostly protein and vegetables, although I have been having Glucerna shakes in the morning. Any carbs I am eating are slow Low GI carbs which has also been helping. I worked out the minute I got up, ate within my calorie range all day and I only had my designated snack after dinner. We have people coming and going all day, but for the most part it is just the four of us. <BR> <BR> Two of us are on health kicks. We had two family concerns and my dad was in the hospital for awhile, but he ok now. So now the 2012 has rolled it is time to rev myself up. Today was my day one of the couch to 5k challenge! While I may be coughing up a lung now, I still did it! Not only am I meeting my fast break goals, but I have now consistantly exercised 3 days in a row and ate within my calorie range three days in a row. Thu, 1 Dec 2011 21:05:11 EST Going from negative to positive So today is Day 1 and I joined feeling a little depressed and upset about the result at my doctor's appointment today. It was also shocking to me that when they weighed me I weighed 304 pounds! So for the better of my health I am going to have to start taking care of myself. I'm not on the internet that often, but my goal is to check in at least 3x a week including every Monday with a weigh in, read some posts and check off what goals I have met.
