I'm back again. I haven't weighed myself in months. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I was still below my highest weight...but only by 2 pounds. It seems I've returned just in time.

Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted my original sparkpeople page when i was trying to reset something, so now I'll need to go in search of new friends and groups and stuff.

I really want to stick this one out. I set a super acheiveable goal of 1 pound per week.... Mon, 27 Jan 2014 11:24:18 EST April...what? goals? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5336746 Did I set goals for April?

Sigh.

I'm not following them. I know I've gained again. I can feel it,

Maybe I'll just weigh in once a month, and start taking measurements.

Fri, 26 Apr 2013 20:32:04 EST It's a new month! April Goals http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5309064 April snuck up me. 246

I remember the last time I did the weight loss "thang", I used to set goals for each month. It worked well.

So let's visit what *didn't* work in March.

tracking *anything* daily
scheduling *anything.

lolol.

I'm usually up at 5am, and gone by 7am, home for a bit of lunch, and then I'm not home again until 9pm. This is simply *not* the year for me to try to run any of my extra curiculars on a sche... Tue, 2 Apr 2013 15:21:08 EST Fiber, fiber, fiber http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5301439 How in the world am I ever going to get the right amount of fiber without blasting over my calorie count? While keeping up with my carb to protein ratio. While keeping a heart smart sodium level?

I don't like cereal. I'd be willing to eat oatmeal if I have to...but it's the equvilent of taking medicine to me. I thought of making some old school buttermilk/bran muffins...but when I looked at the old recipe my parents used to make, they're practically cake.

Blarg, ... Sun, 24 Mar 2013 11:50:29 EST Stress, blood pressure surprises and sleep, oh my! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5288046 Lately I've been noticing that my blood pressure seems to be rising. I check it once in awhile mostly just to practice taking vitals, lol. Unfortunately, I noticed back in September that it was creeping upwards, into the 130s...

and then yesterday when I went to donate blood, the nurse measured it at 153/83!!! yeeeesh.

Now...I know that I suffer from white coat hypertension...my systolic often rises to the 140s when I'm at the doc's, compared to when I take it on my... Fri, 15 Mar 2013 18:23:49 EST Pooch 2 5k http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5268989 Hee hee...I saw a dog training program that had this title and it cracked me up. I'm wondering if Roxy the Wonderdog would be up for it. There's no question she has the energy. We do a whole lotta running, chasing and playing. She can easily go for an hour walk and still have energy left over.

When I started running I used the couch to 5k program here on Sparkpeople, and it went great. I think it's time to revisit it. And as hard as it is to run in the snow...it will be an awe... Wed, 27 Feb 2013 20:20:49 EST Vent, vent, ventity vent http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5261511 Zowie, this winter's getting to me. Too much cold, too much snow, a boatload of stress from school, from family from everything.

I feel like I'm going to collapse from the weight of it all.

I keep thinking I'm ready to make health and fitness changes, but then...I don't.

I think I have the winter blues.

I figure if I start blogging regularly, I'll pick up momentum. As it stands, my standby clothes are getting too tight...to the point that they l... Not much of an entry today, since it's a family day for us. Think we'll play in the snow a bit, work with Roxy the Wonderdog a bit, and maybe...*maybe* I'll start a pre-c25k countdown, by taking Roxy for a very brisk 30 minute walk.

Hubby and the jam-eaters having been begging for a dog for a long time, and I'd buckled *only* to the point where I was willing to foster...

I didn't want the mess, t...
