I hired a PT to get that on track. I am counting on it making a difference. I am not happy with my food choices (esp. Halloween choc candies), but my PT is supposed to help with that aspect of life also.

Here's the exercise plan:
Cardio 6x a week instead of the 4-5x. ST is 3x a week, twice with her and once by myself.

If my food choices continue to include so much sugar, I don't think there will be much change i... Mon, 5 Nov 2012 17:24:28 EST Whew! Remembered what I wanted input regarding I was going to ask about 1% milk vs nonfat.

On vaca I had to get 1% or DS wouldn't have milk with his cereal. We did cereal, milk & fruit instead of splitting a McDonald's Big Breakfast. Woot! for us. We saved splurge meals for dinner only instead of 3x a day.

Anywho... I don't like milk, at all, but because of Spark I added it back for a healthier diet. Welllll 1% fat milk actually tasted good. WHAT? DID? I? JUST? SAY? Milk tasted good!
Someone is messing with my h... Mon, 27 Aug 2012 14:52:18 EST 1 pt for login, my bonus spin was 3. Have you ever matched this or gotten fewer pts?
Sharon Mon, 20 Aug 2012 17:47:30 EST I forgot what I wanted to ask you! No really, I wanted to get input from y'all. I got the chance to sit down, and I guess a consistent 3 hours of sleep a night isn't good for the brain/memory. I'll have to jot a few notes down (when I remember) and hopefully try again tomorrow! This is almost funny.

Good night! Thu, 16 Aug 2012 23:21:23 EST It's My Blog & I'll Celebrate If I Want To! The Olympic Trials for swimming is running this week. My college coach's son, Dakota, swam out of his mind and placed 6th in the 200 fly, behind you-know-who, the King of Swimming, especially in the 200 fly race.

While he did not make the team, I just feel so proud for him & his family.
------------
Forty years ago, almost to the day I did not make the team also. So I'll close.

If anyone reads!

Actually I plan on trying to learn from my stupidity. Fri, 27 Jan 2012 06:52:30 EST I ate the whole... Half gallon of ice cream. Yep that was my dinner while watching White Collar. Turns out the half gallon was 16 1/2 cup servings.

Do you think was partly because of the 4.5 hrs of sleep last night? I was able to stay awake for the class easily. In fact, I felt good about all I was quickly picking up. Then when the teacher said, "Now we are getting to why you guys are here". THEN he started clicking on tabs and NOT saying what he was clicking on. I was getting upset with him.
... Wed, 25 Jan 2012 02:43:49 EST Sabotage my job, my health, me, why? Yeay!

I was so sad yesterday. After work I braved the heavy traffic to the center where I teach Laughing Yoga. It was dark and locked up. Another zero (then) on getting to the pool before work. sigh.

I just read a blog on the elliptical trainer, and I'm thinking since the pool seems like death (I don't understand that yet. But I am sad), I'll try the gym at my condo before work. Seems like a duh!

My goal is to use the mini gym, starting tomorrow before work. I didn't go thru any of the stuff to be donated or returned. Basically, I felt powerless to move even when I told myself just to get up and work for 10 minutes (Fly Lady). Well it's 6:08am and I'm just getting in bed. All I did was read the paper and my new Swimming magazine after a later than normal SNL show. Fri, 12 Aug 2011 20:30:06 EST Hey Ho, Officially Back In The Saddle! I work at a community college for the district (both colleges) but am physically located at one of them (not at the district offices). So officially my campus is closed in summer on Friday's to college employees. A few of us district employees are on campus Fridays, it's pretty deserted tho. Since the pool is closed, no workout for me on Friday, insert sad face here.
Seeing as the title says I'm back, I wrangled up the gumption to head out to the 24 Fitness after work. The pool was open,... Sat, 16 Jul 2011 12:46:46 EST Birthday wishes Tomorrow I am officially old. Maybe you already thot I was old, but tomorrow in my mind I have reached old. When I am closer to 60 than 50, that marks my definition of old. The good thing is, I don't feel old (except for the creaky stiff joints in the am and after sitting for too long).

So on to my b-day wishes.
+ I think I'll always wish that my Mom didn't die on my b-day. Do you know people who wear Halloween costumes and you cannot tell who is underneath all that? Those are the ones I love, and over the years I have fooled many. While I still wear that type (see my photos for my recent witch costume) I am now instantly recognizable by some for the following reason.

I limp when I walk. Guys! last night I was falling asleep while watching the 11pm news. Then I see a photo of my son's former bible study leader, arrested last night for child molestation. Can we say, no longer sleepy, heart pounding, feeling like a possible heart attack? Not a good way to get ready to sleep. Wed, 5 Jan 2011 18:05:17 EST Final Stitches Update Best news, no cancer, somehow the inside of my lip, "got pigmentation".

Also good, no more infection, there is just the scar, both outside and inside my lip. Outside, there is a small white line, not so bad. Inside the scar is bigger (like it's swollen) and my teeth "run into" the puffed out skin. Definitely irritating. With hindsight, it would have been better to watch the pigmented area!!! which was one of the options.

I hope the hard knot of a scar will thin out with ... Tue, 4 Jan 2011 18:45:40 EST Stitches part du I don't think it is healing right. I have a big dent inside my mouth and one of the stitches is still in there. I am being honest with my tracker and anyone who reads this. I am not losing weight even with oodles of exercise (200 min of exercise today). Fri, 19 Nov 2010 20:34:32 EST Neat News & Reached 10%, WW Keychain! Well, yesterday when I weighed in at my WW class, I was down seven (7) pounds. Unbelievable. The previous week I was up .8 It was so frustrating because I had only needed to lose .5 to get the keychain.

I think the gain was only due to the high sodium I consumed the night before weigh in. I think part of those 7 were actually lost the week before but got disguised by the sodium, water weight! ha ha! But that .8 weight gain did make me feel more determined. To stop sabotage snacking... Tue, 9 Nov 2010 21:53:32 EST "Eating of the Junk" October was blah weight-loss-wise. I think I gained, I'm afraid to check. I have a strategy in place.

For the month of September I was on a no sugar challenge. I avoided candy for one month. I know that I can do it for one month, so one holiday should be easy. I plan to avoid all candy EXCEPT Trader Joe’s 72% dark chocolate. 3 squares are one serving size. I have started (this week) having either one, or up to three squares each evening.
