I guess I just needed some rest or a break or... not sure. Anyway I'm back. The last couple/3 weeks I have attempted to re-evaluate my reasoning behind my quest to become healthier and lose weight. I realize that I'm not doing this for anyone else but me so I KNOW I will be successful. Some times you just need a break, so I took one and now I am ready to continue. Since Sunday I have felt like all my energy have been sucked out of me. I have only worked out maybe twice this week. Hopefully I can find my "get up and go" because it has got up and gone. The was The Color Run at Atlanta Motor Speedway and it was AMAZING! I ran some, walked some but I finished. Weighed in today...lost 3lbs and came in 3rd place in the competition at work! I am so proud of myself. I have become more conscious about what I eat and now 3 months in I want to change up to get clearer on certain foods that I eat. I just want to tune things up. The last 3 months have been life changing. I don't consider myself on a diet, this is a lifestyle. A couple of weeks ago when I weighed the scale said 8 lbs lost...I was excited but not really. The person that is keeping the tally at work said that was what it said but I didn't re-weigh (just to make sure) so I went with what she said. Well, last week when I weighed it said I gained 5 lbs. In the back of my mind I knew that I really didn't lose 8lbs so what I think I actually weighed and what the scale said Frida... Wed, 27 Mar 2013 20:23:11 EST WOOOHOOO!!!! I DID IT!!! Today for the first time, I did 30 minutes of jogging/walking (mostly jog). I am SOOOOO proud of myself. I was with my brother who is a runner and he is my BIGGEST supporter. I have wanted to become a runner for a long time now but getting out there today and actually doing it, it the ultimate game changer! Fri, 1 Mar 2013 05:20:46 EST Thursday I have been trying to push myself more this week. I believe that I have succeeded. Tomorrow is weigh-in day at work and so... IT'S ALL GOOD!! I have been making myself eat more this week because the amount of calories taken in are WAY OFF from the calories that I burn by working out. I have added more snacks in between meals and that is sooooo hard for me. I usually eat breakfast,lunch and dinner and I'm good. Lost 3 lbs this week so I HAVE to keep going. I am changing up the DVDs that I have been using so that I will not become bored.
