It's down to the last thirty pounds, and I need to really focus on sticking to my goals. I am going to work out six days a week. I will work out for 90 minutes, and I will not eat more than 1700 calories per day. I will keep track of my food, drink more water, and try to eat more fruits and vegetables. Plus this week, I've decided to start following the SparkFitness planned meals. Because after two weeks of working out everyday and not losing any weight, I decided to change my eating habits to something even healthier. <BR> <BR> With the preplanned meals, they are smaller portions and more nutritious. Also, they make me free guilt-free when I eat, and it gives me a lot of healthy options so I never feel like I have not... Tue, 22 May 2012 23:38:23 EST Aiming for 130 If I had stayed on track, I should be 159 right now. But I went to Philly for a 5-day weekend to visit my best friend and her baby. And ate out a bunch. And didn't work out at all. Except for all of the walking. We walked so much that I refused to do anything the last day because my feet and legs were killing me. <BR> <BR> Now I'm at 162, and my goal is to get to 130 by Dec. 27. I visited my dad this Fourth of July, and found out that he weighs about 10 lbs more than me. Since my dad is 6'2" and I'm 5'5", this really shocked me. I talked to my boyfriend, and we both got a gym membership to Snap Fitness 24/7. Also, we went to Lady Foot Locker and bought two gym shorts and two workout shirts (since none of my old workout clothes fit me). I really need to stick with this lifestyle change. Workout everyday. Eat smaller portions and keep track of what I eat. <BR> <BR> No more fast food for every meal. No more skipping workouts. <BR> <BR> I need to focus on getting my body back in shape. I've gained 30 lbs this past semester and the extra weight around my tummy is driving me mad. I have a lot less self-confidence than I did last year, and if I want to succeed in my new job, I want to feel the best about myself as I possibly can... Sun, 5 Jun 2011 22:12:35 EST popcorn shrimp are the devil i was doing great food-wise until my boyfriend cooked popcorn shrimp in the oven. but i think i didn't eat very much yesterday so it is okay. i listened to Metric's "Black Sheep" while strength training yesterday, which was fun. I focused on strengthening my core. I never knew that the banana and superman exercises were so hard! :( Monday, I did the TurboJam Fat Blaster workout to the same song and that was really fun. Hopefully I can keep working out during the school year and get fit ... Woke up and complained over breakfast about how our pillows felt like rocks last night. But I did get him to do strength training with me today even though our bodies hurt. Thu, 6 Jan 2011 15:28:29 EST 2nd attempt so i worked out for one day, and afterwards my legs hurt so bad that I called off work and stayed home. didn't stick to my schedule of cardio and strength training, but instead sat on my butt and played video games this whole week. i spent a lot of time cooking foods with deer meat and made shredded bbq chicken sandwiches. so i feel guilty and now i will try to keep at it. hopefully i won't be so sore tomorrow that I can't strength train. and i might have to adjust my schedule because of... I was so tied up with work and school that health took a backseat and now i've gained 30 pounds and it's time to get healthy again. i'm excited to get back to working out and eating right! let's hope I can lose this weight by summertime! Also, i was about to eat a can of lasagna but i gave it to my roommate instead and had a tuna fish sandwich. I really need to stock up on more healthy food that is fast to prepare because when i get home I'm exhausted and don't have the time to prepare something healthy.
