I haven't blogged in a few days, I have been busy burning those calories though. I have done at least an hour of cardio on my elliptical for the past few days. I feel so much better after doing it, I want to do more. I have to start getting into the habit of doing a workout in the morning so that I feel the energy for the rest of the day. Tue, 15 Jan 2013 16:35:08 EST Nine was just fine. Today was ok. I struggled with getting the drive to really exercise. I put in a good hour and a half, but it was broken down in half hour increments. I wasn't really truly focused today. I ate take out for dinner. I had a chipotle chicken bowl, which put me right on the edge of going over my calorie limit. I feel so bloated and heavy now. Not good. Maybe it was a lesson I needed to learn. I won't be doing that again. Blah. I am going to go make some tea and get in bed with my loves... Let's t... Thu, 10 Jan 2013 23:20:40 EST Eight is great! Day eight has been great so far! I trained on the elliptical for 65 minutes and burned over 500 calories! Whoo hoo! I ate a lot more fresh fruits and veggies and less carbs. I gotta keep staying on this track to reach my goal. I bought a new scale and hope that it gives me more consistent and accurate readings. I read this very cool quote off a motivational poster the other day and I am going to try and live by it. It said, "Live for today, yesterday is nothing but a memory and tomorrow is a dream!" I didn't think this would be possible during the weekend with all the bad influences and the outings, but I have managed to do it. This really makes me feel like I really might be able to do this! This is going to be a struggle with my husbands bad influence. Last night we went out to eat. Good thing it was Chinese, which is pretty low in fat. High in calories due to the high amounts of sugar they use, but I still managed to stay within my gaily calorie intake. Yeah! I really need to get some workout time in. Sat, 5 Jan 2013 21:29:47 EST Day Three Yeah, I made it to day three! It sounds silly, but I usually can't make it past day now that I have a kid. It is so much easier to grab some unhealthy snack and sit on the couch watching cartoons with him than it is do do whats right for both of us. This is changing!
