AZURE-SKY's SparkPeople Blog AZURE-SKY's Blog on SparkPeople, home of free diet plans and a healthy living community What the food industry doesn't want us to know! This is why the food industry employs food "scientists," not nutritionists, when they develop and "improve" their products - all in the name of the almighty dollar!

/food-companies-trick-consumers-eating
-unhealthy-products-132949611.html?l=1
&desktop_view_default=true
Fri, 1 Mar 2013 21:18:16 EST To blog or not to blog - that is the question. I always thought blogs were like diary or journal entries. A place to do a brain dump or vent about a situation. I don't spend a tremendous amount of time on SP. I belong to several Spark Teams and do respond to posts, and track my foods and activities, and read articles and an occasional blog - if the title intrigues me. Otherwise I skip the blogs.

The reason I don't blog much is that mostly, things don't bother me, so I don't need to vent; I'm retired, so I have no work issue... As usual, I get very stressed when it's time for this test; it's kind of like waiting for the other shoe to drop. This time, a suspicious area showed up on the mammogram, and I had an ultrasound as well. The radiologist couldn't determine what the spot was, so she recommended a needle biopsy. I had that done on Thursday, and I'm waiting for the results. I have my regularly scheduled appointment with the oncologi... Tue, 8 Jan 2013 14:31:59 EST Intolerance - is it me, or is the world getting meaner? I rarely find anything worth blogging about - I refuse to subject other SP members to the minutiae of my life because it's not all that exciting. But something's been bothering me for a while, and I feel I need to get in written down so I can look at it objectively.

I occasionally read news articles on the web and the accompanying comments. I'm amazed at the downright nastiness of some of those posts. I wonder if the anonymity of the internet, and the ability to post comments ab... Wed, 23 May 2012 17:11:43 EST
