I thank God everyday for bringing me through. I still need surgery, to put Humpty Dumpty back together again! Mon, 25 Sep 2017 08:55:40 EST SEPT 18, 2014 Sometimes you wonder...why me?! On the 8th of Sept. within less than 10 minutes I had 3 feet of water & mud from a flash flood. I tried to get Kiki, my kitty, in her carrier out the carport door but when I opened the door, water flooded in faster as it was 4 ft outside. Kiki's carrier broke & she fell into the water but didn't move! As I grabbed her, I felt a jolt of electric shoot up my arm...I jumped back hurried to the living room & began CPR...she came back. I wrapped her in a towel & wad... Sat, 28 Feb 2015 03:38:05 EST Previous Post from Feb: My Birthday Month!!! Here is February, my birthday month. This post was from 10/18/12

My daughter and I walked up to the house that belonged to Dream, she opened the door and said, "yep, come on in". It is a good thing, but I also realized that I am 3 yrs older! I suppose better late than never! The first year on here, I was overwhelmed by the Sparkpeople site, I could not get the hang of it, so much info, so many links and I didn't have the patience to deal with it. I left and was gone for a year trying to do it on my own, but still didn't have a solid direction, so I came back. It took me awhile to build my own food database on the foods I prefer ... Fri, 4 Mar 2011 02:33:08 EST Great Article on Achieving Frugality! The Six Steps. I read this article and found it very insightful. Sometimes we think we are being frugal, but in essence only live it to a certain extent and without a real purpose. It opened my eyes to the fact that it isn't a matter of needing to be frugal, but to want to be frugal and having the power that comes with the choice. Happy reading! The economic situation, the way it is for this country, has been so disheartening for me. Of course, I too have suffered a reduction of income that I had previously, but when I see or read how other people have lost everything, my heart just pains me. Fri, 3 Dec 2010 09:34:22 EST Information and Awareness are Key I believe, being informed and aware, is so important to keeping on track, whether it is healthwise, weightloss, or in being proactive when it comes to medication prescribed to you by a medical doctor. One would do well to always research the meds online. I have throughout my lifetime always kept abreast of what doctors want me to take and I will research it thoroughly before I decided to take it or not.
