I usually follow an ayurvedic lifestyle. You can look that up if you like; I won't get into all the details here. Most people who share my dominant constitutional type are skinny people who have trouble putting on weight, they chat incessantly, and often worry needlessly over tiny details etc.

So, by following this lifestyle for a couple years, I no longer had anxiety, insomnia, arthritis etc. Plus my memory has improved. The downside... Fri, 13 May 2011 13:31:01 EST May Flowers http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4194624 This is about my goals for May. I'm not always very good at planning ahead, in fact I'm not good at it at all. So here goes my ideas.

1. My most important goal for this month is to find balance. I've really been loving the workouts i'm doing. I look forward to them. I've been doing Turbojam and/or TurboFire 5 days a week. I never expected I would ever want to want to work out more than three days a week, but I've surprised myself. 244
The problem is I'm eating much ... Wed, 27 Apr 2011 16:19:30 EST Ch Ch Ch Changes http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4022715 It's been quite awhile since I've written a blog, but then it's been awhile since I've been on SP at all for that matter. I dropped off due to the stress around leaving my job, and starting a new one at the beginning of the highest stress season. The new job is great, and much better for me. I work in a toy store that features educational toys, and teacher resources. My last job was very stressful, and made me very unhappy. I am so happy to have left it behind.

198 <BR... Wed, 16 Feb 2011 13:34:42 EST Only One Pumpkin http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3730798 Well, it's now the third week of October, and I have only lost one pound since the end of summer.

I'm glad to have not gained anything back, but I am pretty amazed at how the season has changed things for me.

Since the beginning of "school" our lives are much more scheduled with three different violin classes, two of them weekly, and one bi-weekly, and two swimming lessons a week. This doesn't leave much time to fit in my workout, so I've had to shorten the amount of car... Thu, 21 Oct 2010 12:11:56 EST Donkeyballs does not burn off tequila calories. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3593168 Every year my old friends and I get together for a reunion camping trip. These are all my "partying" friends from when I was in my twenties. So, we usually get a little out of hand when we meet up again, at least for the first night. I was very happy with myself that I was able to fit, quite comfortably, in to my "impossible" bathing suit 198 for the event. 244

I did not stick with the program while there. I didn't pay attention to portion sizes, I ate potato... Sat, 7 Aug 2010 15:09:42 EST I Can Be a Goal Setter Too! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3495561 I have so many ideas for blogs rolling around in my head, but first I want to get my goals for the month down. I'm not normally one for setting goals. I don't make resolutions either. I have ambition. There are things I want, improvements to make, but I never actually set a deadline for anything. In fact, I've never been one to respond to deadlines ever. This is why I dropped out of art school.

So now that we've established that this is very new for me, here are my goals for the mo... Mon, 2 Aug 2010 15:08:18 EST Yea! I'm not Crazy! My husband Might Be. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3479197 Okay, I've been sparking for a month now. Recently, I've been a little concerned about the number on the scale. I've been working so hard, and couldn't understand why the dial on the scale was not moving at all. After stepping on the scale at a friend's place, I felt hopeful again. Perhaps my scale, was faulty, even though it's brand new.

So, my friend assured me her scale was accurate. I had decided to take my scale back, and get a new one.

I was in good spirits about t... Wed, 28 Jul 2010 15:49:13 EST Maybe I need a New Scale http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3471461 Well, I've been sparking for four weeks now. I'm a little confused about the scale thing. Just before I started I weighed myself on a friend's scale. It's the first time I've weighed myself in years. It was 157 point something, but she told me it weighed people 5 lbs heavier. So I estimated my weight at 152 lbs. About four days later I weighed myself at my sister's place. It said 149 lbs. I was ecstatic. I figured I'd lost 3 lbs in four days. A week later I weighed myself at my sister's again... Mon, 26 Jul 2010 14:29:20 EST Strata Doesn't Want Me to be Skinny. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3450863 I was so excited when I started with SP and lost 3lbs in about four days. I was using my sister's scale as I didn't have one. I couldn't wait until the following week to weigh myself again. I was sure it would be down more. If I can lose 3lbs in four days imagine what I might lose in a week! The scale was the same.

I wasn't discouraged. I had a positive attitude. I kept at it, and the next week had the same result. I stayed positive reminding myself that perseverance pays off, and... Tue, 20 Jul 2010 12:01:15 EST Diet at a Festival? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3427522 Okay, I'll start by saying I didn't really diet at the festival. I tried to be very mindful, and I don't think I did too bad, but it is very hard to stick to portion controls when you're eating food from a vendor once or twice a day for three days. Plus, it really doesn't help to have your husband sitting beside you munching on kettle corn. I am pleased to say that I only had a small amount. In the past I have eaten the whole bag.

Don't get me wrong, I know about packing your own f... Tue, 13 Jul 2010 12:13:07 EST Getting Started http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3409453 Well, it's been a week and a half that I've been sparking. I'm enjoying the recipes, the articles, and the scheduling. I'm not a very organized person, by nature, so having my workouts scheduled and picked out for me is nice. It's working, and I'm enjoying it.

I was very excited when I lost three pounds after four days. The last weigh in wasn't very satisfying, though. I have been using my sister's scale as I don't have one. Her scale has a dial, and only has numbers written for ev... Wed, 7 Jul 2010 22:59:12 EST
