No huuuge meals, or skipping meals, or downing a half dozen sodas a day, but also no tracking for now.
Still exercising as well, minimum of 15 min a day, up to an hour a day. Still drinking 3-5 bottles of water a day. (that is around 6-10 8oz servings)
Going Monday to see about a gym membership (brother's friend since highschool just bought out a small local gym... *maybe* 5 min from my house. weee?... I can set it up by the TV and don't even notice how long I've been on it if I don't set the timer. (I aim for 15 min a night, in addition to a walk every day.)

2- I am not made for jogging. Not that I mind this that much, but the movement that jogging requires, puts a *lot* of stress on my foot, which is bad. Even after I lose a log of weight, I will still not be a jogger. (Maybe a cyclist tho!) Also, sports bras are a necessity for wo... Sometimes I may forget to track a meal, but never again will I skip a whole day.

2- Chia seeds are fun to drink. I don't have them every day, but about every other, or every third day, I'll dump a tablespoon into one of my water bottles, add a squirt of lemon or lime juice, or a packet of Crystal Light Pink Lemonade and let them swell up, then drink it over the next couple of hours.
This website has the nutritional info on them, but goo... Sat, 11 Aug 2012 22:27:10 EST Skipped tracking food.. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5008995 Yep. Nearly all day yesterday, I simply didn't track.
Call it a personal experiment.

I ate wayyyy too much, made myself feel sick for it (physically, not as in sick with guilt here) and didn't get to sleep til around 3am.

When I track my foods, I feel better, and make better choices throughout the day. I drink more water, and eat less junk. There's less mindless eating, and less eating at the computer.

My knee hurting was not helping either. Didn't wal... Thu, 9 Aug 2012 23:17:15 EST 3 Things I Learned This Week http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5001414
1 - Most weight-loss information online, (calculators, BMR information, calorie deficit information) is geared towards either weightlifters, or people with less than 30lbs to lose. Quite a lot that is geared towards anyone with 100+ lbs to lose, assumes we are all going to run out and get gastric bypass surgery.

2 - No matter how loudly someone talks about how they want to lose weight, if they don't take the first steps, they won't ever lose the weight.

3 - Every ... Sun, 5 Aug 2012 00:11:56 EST 3 Things I Learned This Week http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4990950 1 - Too much sugar gives me a migraine. WHY did it take going on spark people and tracking my food to realize this? I've had migraines for about 5 years now, in general about 1 a week or so, and not one Dr, nurse, or nutritionist has been able to say why.... /facepalm

2 - Too much fatty food makes me feel ill. Really, this doesn't need an explanation does it?

3 - No matter how far I think I walked, I didn't. Every time.. I think I've gone a quarter mile, its .10, I think... Sat, 28 Jul 2012 21:14:24 EST Mixed up day http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4987958 Found out dad's kidney function is down to 17%, which is a 3% drop in about 4 months, he's going to have a fistula put in for dialysis in the next few weeks (with dialysis actually starting in about 3-4 months if it keeps to this rate)
Brother is going to start taking every other Tues. to do Dr. appts with mom and dad as needed (or to do hospital duty if they put him in more than overnight for the fistula)
I've lost nearly 7lbs since last Thursday, and have had way less migraines an...
