I have been making slow progress in this 8 week challenge and the change this past two weeks was increasing FIBER. Fiber comes in fruits and vegetables. Fri, 27 Nov 2015 14:09:47 EST Returning to Spark People I have been gone for quite a while, but ready to get back in the swing of things. I hope to become more active. I have seen how less exercise has made me weaker, and decreased my balance. Last week I fell, and had quite a scare, lots of bruising, but nothing broken. Want to improve on that and keep out of the hospital. Sun, 28 Dec 2014 16:20:39 EST Motivating article I just ran across an article that really motivated me. I am doing it on an app(free) on my phone that my doctor recommended to me "myfitnesspal".

Today it was interesting when we took our grandson to McDonald's and knowing that I would have to track, and knowing that I want to loose weight, I was tempted, but did not eat any of his french fries, or take a bite of his cheeseburger. I also didn't ask that we get ice cream after. My husband and I each had a grilled chicken-bac... Sun, 20 Oct 2013 21:25:34 EST What a week of overeating will do to you I admit it I overate this past week. I ate lots of nuts, got candy twice, had salty food, overate on the cheese, etc. Net result a gain of 4.5 lbs. I will not let that deter me, but urge me on to make the changes I need for this week. This week we have to track our food, and I intend to use that as a means to keep me on track, and know what I am eating. And keep me from buying junk to satisfying a craving just because I want to , and making wiser choices. Sat, 19 Oct 2013 11:02:04 EST End of Week One Fall 5% challenge 2013 I didn't do well this week as far as eating is concerned. Nor in drinking my water. But I did get in some good workouts. I do plan to work harder next week, and the plan is to track all of our food. I plan to do that with a fitness app that I have on my cell phone that was recommended to me by my doctor. I will be having a easier week schedule wise, and less stress.

I Plan to plan my meals ahead of time.

Want to make progress on this challenge.
