I am so proud of my progress. Inch by inch, and step by step, I am slowly figuring out how to get little bits of exercise in where I can. Last night I managed some hula hooping. :) I want to get a bigger, heavier hoop soon. Thu, 31 Jan 2013 13:14:18 EST Jan 25th 2013 Another pound down, bringing my total to eight! I have managed to stay relatively injury free too, which has been really good. (YAY!) My husband and me have been getting outside and taking walks together which is helping for sure. I still can't do any heavy cardio with my foot, but I'm having a special foot insert made next week which will prevent my toe from bending so I can do more intense workouts. :) Just gotta keep pushing. Fri, 25 Jan 2013 12:19:53 EST 7 pounds down. With another injury (such is the life of a girl with HMS), I find myself frustrated by how slow my weight loss goes. Though, this morning, I woke up to a new low, which puts me at seven pounds down.

Right now, I am focusing on strength training only, as my foot is injured, so I can't do any cardio until I get back to the podiatrist. The main point though, is that I'm eating good things, and getting in whatever exercise I can. :) Slowly by slowly, I will get where I wanna go. Tue, 8 Jan 2013 13:11:19 EST Week Four This week, I am down another pound and a half! I'm really proud of myself, because I've been sick for most of the week, so I am really glad I somehow lost weight anyway. I was still careful with my food, but because I was sick, I didn't get my usual workouts in. Today I am feeling much better, so I will be working out as per my usual schedule.

So, as of today, I am down four pounds! Four pounds in four weeks! Not a bad run! :) I love it! Let's keep the momentum going! Fri, 7 Dec 2012 12:52:36 EST Week 3 It has been three weeks, and this week I am down .4 pounds. I can't deny that I'm a little bit disappointed. I worked out a lot this week, and I ate very well. Overall though, I've lost a total of three pounds, and that averages out to one pound per week. I'm really pleased with that, and I'm looking forward to trying hard again this coming week. Here is hoping I lose at least a full pound this coming week. Fri, 30 Nov 2012 10:08:22 EST Week Two Well, I didn't lose any weight this week, but I was doing really well. I have been nursing two injuries all week, but I have continued to be active and make sure to do my workouts anyway. Then, unfortunately, I spent the last three days sick, and I didn't work out at all. I am feeling better today, so I'm going to be sure to get my workout in. Thanksgiving came, and I ate very sensibly. I was proud of myself because I usually eat way too much on Thanksgiving, and I almost always gain. T... Sat, 24 Nov 2012 15:44:25 EST Hurt My Knee I hurt my knee last night, during my workout, and immediately after, there was a big blue bruise with a white outline around it on the exact middle front of my knee. It hurt really bad to walk around and kept buckling from under me. :(

This morning, it still feels a little "off", the bruise is still there, and I had a strength training routine to do today. Ugh. I decided to do some pilates, and I made it through all 40 minutes of my pilates tape.

I really hate ho... Mon, 19 Nov 2012 14:19:28 EST Week One Today has been one week that I've been actively trying to lose weight, and I was so excited! Down three pounds. Yay! I've been working really hard. I haven't eaten any "junk" food, I exercised every day (except my one rest day), and I even got extra fitness in. :) I hope next week is as good as this one, but I have Thanksgiving to contend with, and that won't be easy, for sure. Fri, 16 Nov 2012 10:49:58 EST New Scale I had gone to a couple of doctor's appointments, and was 10-12 pounds heavier than I was with my scale at home. I know that doctor's scales always seem to vary one or two pounds from what I see at home, but that's a huge change. I decided my old scale was.. You know, old, and I opted to buy a new one. I picked one that had a very good rating from Looks like I am up an extra 9 pounds from what I initially thought. I weighed in last friday at 160.5. I had thought that I would...
