I am so proud of my progress. Inch by inch, and step by step, I am slowly figuring out how to get little bits of exercise in where I can. I have managed to stay relatively injury free too, which has been really good. (YAY!) My husband and me have been getting outside and taking walks together which is helping for sure. I still can't do any heavy cardio with my foot, but I'm having a special foot insert made next week which will prevent my toe from bending so I can do more intense workouts. :) Just gotta keep pushing. Though, this morning, I woke up to a new low, which puts me at seven pounds down. <BR> <BR> Right now, I am focusing on strength training only, as my foot is injured, so I can't do any cardio until I get back to the podiatrist. The main point though, is that I'm eating good things, and getting in whatever exercise I can. :) Slowly by slowly, I will get where I wanna go. I'm really proud of myself, because I've been sick for most of the week, so I am really glad I somehow lost weight anyway. I was still careful with my food, but because I was sick, I didn't get my usual workouts in. Today I am feeling much better, so I will be working out as per my usual schedule. <BR> <BR> So, as of today, I am down four pounds! Four pounds in four weeks! Not a bad run! :) I love it! I can't deny that I'm a little bit disappointed. I worked out a lot this week, and I ate very well. Overall though, I've lost a total of three pounds, and that averages out to one pound per week. I'm really pleased with that, and I'm looking forward to trying hard again this coming week. Here is hoping I lose at least a full pound this coming week. I have been nursing two injuries all week, but I have continued to be active and make sure to do my workouts anyway. Then, unfortunately, I spent the last three days sick, and I didn't work out at all. I am feeling better today, so I'm going to be sure to get my workout in. It hurt really bad to walk around and kept buckling from under me. :( <BR> <BR> This morning, it still feels a little "off", the bruise is still there, and I had a strength training routine to do today. Down three pounds. Yay! I've been working really hard. I know that doctor's scales always seem to vary one or two pounds from what I see at home, but that's a huge change. I decided my old scale was.. You know, old, and I opted to buy a new one.
