I met a lot of good dancers last night too! It was pretty fun, I learned a few things from a few people. Some danced in a style that wasn't quite my own, but I just floated around.
I gotta say, keeping up on exercise has really helped with my energy level. Last night I felt like the energizer bunny-- I could go and go and go!
I've also noticed my confidence level go up too. I've been more outgoing recently than I ... Fri, 21 Jun 2013 14:11:03 EST A Lesson Learned http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5385548 This past weekend, I went to visit a friend's wedding. During that time I ate whatever I wanted without tracking it. Needless to say... it kinda busted my diet. I don't mean that I ate just a little over. I went faaar over, fast food, candy bars, chocolates, alcohol, etc. etc. All the stuff that one should only eat in moderation, I ate a ton of it.

Interestingly enough, I didn't feel the full weight of this until last night. Yesterday I was good, until dinner. When instead o... Tue, 11 Jun 2013 08:37:38 EST Starting Over http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5383638 Soo, yesterday was my friend's wedding. Needless to say I ate and drank quite a bit during the festivities. I drank waaaaay more than I ate, and I'm surprised I didn't end up ill.

Today I'm picking myself back up and brushing off. Back to planning for my weight loss goals. Did a HIIT workout. It was difficult at first, but once I pushed through I was able to get it done.
Even though I'm not at my goal weight yet, I am proud of the results I'm seeing. My abdomen is bett... Sun, 9 Jun 2013 18:05:39 EST End With a Nice Quote http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5379638 Today went really well. I didn't get enough sleep last night, but meh. What I did get accomplished, is having a lot of fun with my workout! Particularly my High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout! I've done this particular workout before

http://www.fitnessblender.com/v/workout-
detail/17-Minute-At-Home-Cardio-High-I
ntensity-Interval-Training-Workout/8l/

There it is up there ^^^^
And normally I die when I do it. One minute intervals of high knees ... Wed, 5 Jun 2013 21:53:54 EST Over the Terrible Boulder http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5377214 This morning I was really proud of myself. For the first time ever I was able to do the full tabata rounds of flutter kicks. Just goes to show how far I've come in only a few weeks!
Then there was work, and more work, and bicycling there and back. I unwittingly did a 5x5x5 workout (five reps, five pulses, five times through) for the lower body- oh my goodness! I was in tears, really! I was so frustrated with my inability to finish some of the reps. I'll just chalk it up to the fact... Mon, 3 Jun 2013 20:53:57 EST One Day at A Time http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5375591 Hooray! I didn't over eat yesterday. I stuck to my goal plan, I gave myself a motivator. I told myself that if I didn't eat any sweets on the job I could have a banana and yoplait yogurt. It worked, thank goodness. It's not that great that I ate quite late at night, but it's better than having way too many cookies and pieces of cake.

Today has also started out well, I completed a particularly hard workout (it involved jump rope). Then, I got to have peanut butter and a piece o... Sun, 2 Jun 2013 13:01:11 EST The Beginning of Summer http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5374507 It's strange, I've graduated from college, and I still feel like I'm going back to classes in the fall. Graduating with a Fine Arts/Art Ed degree means finding jobs in the middle of Indiana is a bit difficult. For now, however, I'll supplement my income with substitute teaching, babysitting, and working another part-time job.
This is all well and good, but I expected so much more from myself these past few weeks. I don't have a "get up and go" attitude right now. Being a fine artist,... Sat, 1 Jun 2013 11:23:13 EST
