I know the guys like to increase their arms but for us gals we need to look a little more delicate. I still like the toned look but not ripped for me. So because I have occasion to wear the Vietnamese Ao Dai (traditional dress and pants) I want to not look like two stuffed sausages with my arms and the material constricting tight so that I can't hug or move. And I know that you can't spot reduce so of course my main course is reduction in weight but at the same time I am doing upper body work... I used to enjoy running so yesterday I began the program. It is also on their website if anyone wants to view it. It starts with one minute of running and three minutes of walking alternating 13 times. I didn't find it too difficult. There is stretching and strength exercises also included. But they did say if at any time you wish to stay at one level without increasing the running time it ... Wed, 10 Jun 2009 16:24:29 EST Forcing myself to eat foods I don't like I have been doing this for about five years now. And what is really strange is that I'm beginning to like them. Take for example Brussels sprouts. I had in times past tried them several times and even tried preparing them different ways and I still couldn't stand them. But now I really look forward to them when they are served. I read one time that you need to offer a food to a child as many as 15 times before they accept and eat it willingly. I was beginning to think it would never happen. But now that it has I am really psyched! So now to continue with the progress will still be hard but finally seeing progress I will be even more motivated to skip the office donut that appears on Thursday.
