Four years ago when I started my fitness journey I was somewhere around 360 lbs. Not sure of the exact number on the scale as it did not go up that far. Usually there is a picture of someone who doesn’t appear to have much body fat, those BMI is normal or below. They are show as the fit person. At my gym the elliptical face the windows, there are TV’s above the windows for watching which you work out or you can watch the traffic. Shovelling snow or burning 350 cals As most of you know I live outside of Ottawa Canada. It snowed today, the snow is now higher in my yard than my Dachshund is tall. ( she is not to impressed) Must be about 12 inches so far. Shovelled the snow first thing this morning and again when I came back from the gym. I discovered my first winter on Spark that you could track snow shovelling. It was then I found out that shovelling snow for 30 minutes burns about 340 calories. But it is something to think about what I want to do this year before I turn 50. While age has never been a big thing for me. Have no fear of turning 50. I am more comfortable with my age now than when I was younger. Before I was 30 I never felt like I was the right age.
