And because it made me grin like some sort of psychopath, here's a video of probably my favourite dance of the series, from Louis and pro dancer Flavia Cacace.

Sun, 23 Dec 2012 03:39:36 EST Doing a Christmas dance marathon Venue booked, posters done, tickets printed, online booking organised...

Now I just have to get the choreography sorted! I'm doing about an hour of the usual routines, followed by 45-50 minutes of christmas songs. I am actually doing some new routines for the first section as well, mainly some slower ones because I need more slowies just so that I can survive nearly two hours myself!

I'm going to break my own rule and edit one song for language - I figure I'm likely to... Mon, 26 Nov 2012 18:50:42 EST I'm not going to spend ages writing the entry I was planning to write ...because SP comes up with "No profanity in your blog entry, please." Sun, 7 Oct 2012 11:04:48 EST 10k Ran my first 10k today! Both stopwatches failed but I think I came in under an hour, which considering I'm a jogger not a runner, is OK for a first time I think. I made the beginner's mistake of starting too fast, which was made worse by the first bit being uphill. Sun, 9 Sep 2012 17:22:32 EST An exciting week ahead... The BIG exciting thing being leading my first ever aerobics class on Thursday! I did a complete run-through today and realised I've choreographed way too much. But that means I only have to do the best bits...

So what else have I got this week?

Monday I have my regular jogging group and I'll also do another run-through of the aerobics class.

Tuesday I've got to get the publicity sorted for the next jogging group courses, make sure it goes in the local paper ... One thing I have been very keen to do in assembling my own class is to choose music that McZumbaburger instructors have never heard of. On the whole, this is pretty easy. However...

I thought I had an absolute cracker of an unknown song. A song that fitted my class to a T, and importantly a song that nobody had posted any choreography for on YouTube, which is essentially my guarantee that it doesn't exist in the McZumbaburger world. I devised choreography for it, I had come to thi... Fri, 10 Aug 2012 04:19:48 EST
