Mon, 27 Apr 2009 17:22:26 EST raking the yard http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2008583 Today I was outside raking the old leaves and cleaning up the dog poo. After a long Alaskan winte,r and having 2 big dogs the poo is a big thing. I did burn a lot of calories today even tho it is a rest day. It does feel good to be outside and doing something. If I had more energy, I would love to go for a bike ride, but I am worn out! Sat, 25 Apr 2009 14:41:16 EST breakfast http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2003952 Yesterday we went out to breakfast. Not something we do, maybe brunch on Sundays tho. I came home and tracked my food. WOW! I am so glad I did! Knowing how many calories I had at breakfast kept me from going over my calories. I think I will stick with my cereal in the mornings! I like them and they fill me up without all the calories. Fri, 24 Apr 2009 22:34:48 EST 30 pounds gained http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=1997609 I was looking at my photos today on my page and realised I have gained 30 pounds from the april 08 picture, and 49 pounds from my low of 150. I have lost 3 pounds over the last week, but it will be a long haul to get back to 150. <BR> I started slipping in December and never paid much attention to it. I was tired of the weekly weigh-ins. Tired of watching EVERY bite I ate. I thought I could self monitor myself. Who was I kidding, you don't get to 250 by self monitoring. By the time I took... Wed, 22 Apr 2009 20:00:06 EST My food accomplishments http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=1868526 I haven't been making all the right choices the last 6 months. But I can say I have kept up with my high fiber breakfast, I never use to eat breakfast. I also eat way more veggies and fruits than I ever did. I have made small changes with the way I cook, and just need to work on portion control. Food will always be a battle for me, but in some ways I feel like I am holding m own and even winning in some ways. <BR> Ginger Tue, 10 Mar 2009 23:54:39 EST normal? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=1584458 I want to be normal.
