Does anyone have any suggestions on exercises to help with the neck? Realize general weight loss should hopefully help, but is there anything in particular that would be recommended? Fri, 22 Nov 2013 17:43:45 EST Me? A size 10?! You must be joking! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5516778 Yup. For the first time since high school I'm wearing a size 10 jean. And I can breathe in them! Haha. I'm down to 155.8 lbs as of this morning. I honestly could not tell you the last time I weighed that. I looked back through my medical record and saw I was 158 lbs in 2004 for a VERY brief period of time. Right now my end goal is 145, though I'll sort of see how I feel when I get there. No doubt I'll at least be in a size 8 by then 9

It was nice to see a happy ... Fri, 18 Oct 2013 09:19:40 EST FINALLY! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5410331 Just a quick blog...

It took nearly 22 months, but I finally did it. I am at my pre-pregnancy weight of 163 :) Now to finish what I was working on when I got pregnant... only another 13 to go!

P.S. Moving is an excellent way to lose weight haha. Thu, 4 Jul 2013 07:31:50 EST A shift in the program http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5255928 So it only took about a week and a half for me to start to really dislike doing the P90. I think it was just the repetitiveness of it. So, I decided to change it up a bit and I'm mixing in other workout DVDs I have like my Jillian Michaels and Jackie Warner DVDs. So I'm still going at it, just taking a different approach. Because frankly if I dread having to do the same thing night after night (well, every other night since you rotate with the P90) then I'm not going to do it. Gotta do w... Tue, 19 Feb 2013 09:26:31 EST P90 continues http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5242744 Didn't post anything but I did finish P90 day 3. Day 4 ended up being my day off for the week. I wanted to work out but there were some issues within the family that had to take priority over getting sweaty with Tony Horton *lol*

So tonight I'll be back it. Still feeling pretty good energy-wise, but considering yesterday starting it being that time of the month in general I feel overly hormonal and bloated.

I do absolutely want to keep this up. I'm excited about get... Fri, 8 Feb 2013 11:25:35 EST P90 Day 2 (posted a day late) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5239802 Last night's P90 went a whole lot better. Although that resistance band was kicking my butt!! But I do definitely prefer the sculpt days over the sweat. And of course, today is a sweat day. But... I can do it!!

It's amazing the change already though with just adjusting my food intake and getting off my butt. Always makes me wonder why I didn't do this awhile ago? *LOL*

And a thanks to DDHEART... you are correct... I needed to change how I saw my before pictures. TH... Wed, 6 Feb 2013 07:48:06 EST P90 Day 1 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5236662 Well, after completing day 1 of P90 (sweat 1-2/ab ripper 100) I'm reminded of a few things. One is how much I dislike yoga. Two I much prefer the strength days over the cardio days. And three is holy crap I am out of shape. I definitely had to take it slow today with it. But they say you should start out slow anyways, so guess that's alright. Here's to hoping that at some point it gets easier *lol* Only 89 days to go.

ETA: I think worse than the workout was taking a look at ... Mon, 4 Feb 2013 07:17:46 EST Week one down http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5118434 Okay, seriously, let's hope it's sticking this time because this is really getting old. But I've got week one down for working out. Four days on the treadmill and two days with the Wii. I've got the twitchy leg muscles to prove it *LOL* Last night I finally restarted my c25k training. Man I missed that. Helps too that my husband is getting in on the workout action. He got home from bible study tonight and tried to kick me off the treadmill *lol* Luckily I had been a minute away from f... Tue, 30 Oct 2012 21:54:36 EST And here we go again http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4968843 Who knew it'd be so much harder to focus on weight loss with two children compared to one? *lol* Of course by the time I really started to get focused last time Harrison was nearly 2 years old, sleeping through the night and didn't give me any grief when I tried to exercise (usually because he was asleep when I did). Now I have Harrison (who is two weeks shy of turning 4) standing next to me any time I attempt to exercise asking me a million questions about what I'm doing and I have to stra... Fri, 13 Jul 2012 14:11:52 EST I'm REALLY back this time? I think? *lol* http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4590348 So on my last blog post nearly 2 months ago I said I was back. Well, that didn't exactly stick very long. Now that I'm nearing the end of my maternity leave though I have started to focus my energy on being healthier again. I had gotten down to 188 in October, then went back up to 195. Luckily with cutting out soda again, tracking my foods and beginning to work out when I can I have dropped to 189.4 as of this morning. Helps too that my bestest bud April (ladybugtoos) and I are doing som... Fri, 18 Nov 2011 16:15:12 EST I'm baaaaaaaaaack *lol* http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4499976 Two and a half weeks ago I had my baby boy, Colin. The pregnancy didn't go quite as I had hoped - in the end I had gained 58 lbs. No one believed I actually gained that much (or perhaps they were just being kind *lol*), but luckily I've already lost about 30 lbs. I haven't had the chance to weigh myself in a few days, so we'll see what the scale says in a bit. Today marks me starting to track my food intake again though. Still need to eat a decent amount and all since I'm breastfeeding f... Fri, 23 Sep 2011 10:59:52 EST 2011... a new year, a new me, a new life (literally) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3876818 So 2010 was a great year for me for weight loss. Between May and December I went from about 200 lbs to 161 lbs. That was huge for me. I did so incredibly well for so long. Until in November I fell off the so-called bandwagon. I haven't exercised near as much I should have and my diet also took a dive. Luckily my weight has remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 162 and 165, usually depending on my salt intake.

But now the weight loss journey has to be put on hold... ... Sat, 1 Jan 2011 12:58:00 EST October 25, 2010 (with pictures) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3738833 Well, not much has changed since I last blogged. Last week I really didn't get anything accomplished workout-wise because of all the illness running around the house. Today I'm finally feeling better so looking forward to a much better week this week!

Luckily without having worked out and eating a bit outside my norm (some days were better than others) I didn't gain any weight. Of course I didn't lose any either! But I'm alright with it.

Getting compliments is defin... Mon, 25 Oct 2010 11:43:38 EST Update http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3706925 Haven't blogged in awhile. Kinda didn't see a point. Felt like I was saying the same boring things day after day and no one really cared, so I just went about my business by myself.

Though really I'm not even sure what to update on. I've slowed down a lot, that's for sure. Still trying to eat as well as I can (although this weekend was not so good - note to self: stop buying Halloween candy early) and I'm still working out generally four or five days a week. My lowest weight ... Mon, 11 Oct 2010 06:26:25 EST Cardio day http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3672263 Yeah, I was lacking a better title *lol* Anywho... I had planned last night to get up today and do P90 sculpt. But I slept in until 8 a.m. *lol* Man I can't remember the last time I slept beyond 6:30! Felt sooo good. So instead I waited until Harrison took his nap and then got on our new recumbent bike. Little disappointed in the resistance department, but otherwise it went pretty well. Ended up doing ELEVEN miles! Though the hubs says without having more resistance it's not surprisin... Sun, 26 Sep 2010 19:54:16 EST P90 Sweat/Ab day 3 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3666764 Finally got to get in day 3 of the sweat/ab part of P90. I was supposed to do it Wednesday, but life got in the way per usual. Yesterday life really got in the way... in the form of a 3 foot tall monster in their terrible 2's *lol* But... even though part of me just didn't even want to do the sweat part today (I really gotta say I don't like the yoga part of it), I pushed through and did it. And here's my morning accomplishment: I made it through all 10 bicycle crunches! *lol* And going... Fri, 24 Sep 2010 07:10:46 EST P90 Sculpt day 3 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3657256 Time to check another one off the calendar! This morning got in day 3 of the sculpt. Burned 1 calorie more than I did the last time I did it, so at least I'm being consistent *lol* I was planning on doing the treadmill last night, but it didn't happen due to several reasons which I don't want to get into on here, so I added in 15 minutes on the treadmill this morning after the P90.

Weight has stayed about the same since I started last week, but I'm okay with that considering s... Tue, 21 Sep 2010 07:26:13 EST P90 Sweat/Ab Day 2 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3654012 Day 2 of the sweat/ab 1-2 was last night, and I'm happy to report that I made it through much better than the first time around, though still some minor struggles. Anything in the ab part where my legs have to be off the floor is an issue for me, that's for sure. But, I'm working on it. So, with that I exceeded my goal burn for the day yesterday, which I'm alright with since this morning I'm not doing anything. Woke up with a headache this morning, so if anything I will be doing some trea... Mon, 20 Sep 2010 07:25:56 EST P90 Sculpt day 2 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3650732 Not much to report other than yesterday was indeed a cardio day. I did 45 minutes on the treadmill with a great burn. Then tonight I did day 2 of the sculpt 1-2 from P90. Tomorrow is the dreaded sweat 1-2 and ab ripper. *runs screaming* Hehe, just kidding. Though they are a bit scary for me. But, looking down at my belly... definitely need it. My belly is even scarier than the thought of doing the exercises.

Yesterday was a pretty good food day. Today... not so much. I se... Sat, 18 Sep 2010 22:37:39 EST P90 Day 2 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3643032 I can now see why a friend of mine told me this is going to become boring. I didn't have troubles with the sculpt part and can see me doing that longer term, but I have the feeling the sweat part is going to give me some issues. I made it through to the best of my ability and got a great burn, there's no doubt about that. I'm just hoping with me trying to space it out and doing it 2-3 times a week only will keep me from getting TOO bored with the sweat part. And then there's the Ab Ripper... Thu, 16 Sep 2010 07:24:15 EST P90 Day 1 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3639690 Here begins the P90 adventure *lol* I made it through day 1 of Sculpt 1-2 without dying, crying or even really suffering too badly! Actually I did really well. Except for the chair dips, which I did the minimum 8 reps then stopped until it was time to start the squats. Arm strength is definitely another thing I need to work on... which is why I had to do my push-ups as wall push-ups. But all in all, it was a good time. I like that he has you put one leg in front of the other. It felt b... Wed, 15 Sep 2010 07:20:14 EST Blog #2 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3637016 This is blog entry #2 for today to let it be public knowledge I'm going to start the P90 series. If I keep it to myself or only tell a person or two I can slack off and not do it without feeling too guilty. If the Sparkiverse knows about it then I can't get off quite so easy *lol* I'm not doing the full blown P90X, I'm just not prepared (mentally mostly) for that. So I'll start out by doing the less intense one. I'm going to take it a week at a time. If I start out saying I have to comp... Tue, 14 Sep 2010 10:55:53 EST Moments of giddiness http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3636186 I seriously am having troubles forming a coherent sentence this morning, while trying not to hyperventilate from being happy *LOL* Check this out:

(Sorry bout that, forgot to turn off the flash! -- that's 169.4!)

I hadn't been able to get below 170.8 (and generally fluctuating between that and 172) for a good 3 weeks now. Though honestly it felt like I'd been stuck there for months. FINALLY! I w... Tue, 14 Sep 2010 06:12:16 EST Evil abs http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3629750 I've decided to buckle down and start to work on my abs. So that means at least every other day I have to do ab work. Question is, how much should I do when I do it? Today I did about 12 minutes, plus a few minutes of sort of a warm up period before I started the abs. I tried to do a couple of my 10 Minute Solution DVDs with ab stuff on them... but for some reason neither would play right. So I just went "free style" *lol* Just hoping I can do something to trim up my tummy a bit before ... Sun, 12 Sep 2010 08:13:56 EST The Dress... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3627452 So in the last blog I mentioned I had found the dress. Going today to see if they have it at the store in Rothschild. Hoping they do and hoping it looks good on me *LOL* If not I have a couple other dresses picked out from JCPenney that I really like. But this one is definitely the front runner, and I finally found a picture from their website:

Next project is a haircut. I had thought my hair was maybe 4-5" pa... Sat, 11 Sep 2010 10:08:04 EST Back to it... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3620987 After taking a few days off of regular exercise I got back to it this morning. I could tell I'd slacked for a few *lol* Over the weekend I got a lot of walking in though. Saturday we were out for nearly 2 hours walking around, picking up sticks, me running after Harrison. Yes, seriously running. And not feeling like I was going to die after doing it *lol* I'm not a runner by any means, so that's good for me. Sunday we went to Eau Claire and walked around the mall for about an hour. Th... Thu, 9 Sep 2010 07:30:24 EST Friday again (Woo!) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3602840 Yep, I'm still here. Been a few days since I blogged because well, I haven't had a whole lot to say. Life has been the same ol, same ol.

Last I blogged I had said I was going to keep up on the Shred. And then I discovered something I liked more the very next day. It's also circuit training, but I like it better for some reason. And it gives a fantastic burn. It's the Personal Training with Jackie: Power Circuit Training DVD. It's by Jackie Warner (of Bravo's Workout and th... Fri, 3 Sep 2010 07:45:14 EST Day 9 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3590454 Today I'm marking as day 9 of the 30 Day Shred level 1. I had started out thinking I'd do it a full 10 days again since I skipped it for so long. Now I've decided to move onto level 2 after one more day of level 1. Yes, I'm slightly indecisive and change my mind a lot, but oh well *LOL* As long as I do something, right?

So I did level 1 this morning. Beyond that it was more heavy cleaning tonight. We decided it was time to give the kitchen and bathrooms a good scrub down! <BR... Mon, 30 Aug 2010 20:18:23 EST Shredding http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3586429 So I restarted the Shred yesterday. I had intentions of doing it again today. Until last night happened and we were all (including Harrison) up WAY too late and then slept in this morning. If he goes to bed at a decent time tonight I might try and get it done tonight, or I might do it in the morning. Either way, I'm doing it dangit! *LOL*

It's been a pretty low key kind of day, though there was morning cleaning done. I swear the cleaning is NEVER done! Still more to do yet to... Sun, 29 Aug 2010 19:00:20 EST Hooray! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3581640 The work week is over! Hooray! 20

Though it was a pretty good day in the end. Made a major comeback at work today after a sluggish day yesterday. Yesterday I was under my quota by about a minute and a half and today I surpassed my quota by half an hour worth of dictation, so I'm quite pleased with myself *lol*

Food was fairly good, was actually within all of my goals. Except fiber. I missed it by ONE. Pfft. Thinking I'm going to have to stock up again o... Fri, 27 Aug 2010 21:36:18 EST Wait, it's not Friday?! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3578192 I swear my mind keeps telling me it's Friday and it's making me all sorts of confused over here. I could so use a couple days away from listening to doctors! Or at least can we send them all to school on how to dictate properly and enunciate? *LOL* It would make things so much better.

I took this morning off. I actually thought about taking the whole day off, but we still ended up going for a walk tonight. Brandon made me slow my pace down *lol* He said unless I wanted him to... Thu, 26 Aug 2010 20:37:38 EST What a day http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3574604 Was definitely a busy, busy day. Exercising, cleaning, working, playing outside, going for a walk... now finally time to relax.

I tried out the DVD I got from Netflix and the Gold's Gym Dance Workout game for the Wii. I was sorely disappointed in both for the same reason. They both moved WAY too fast with little to no explanation. Especially the dance game. I'm barely coordinated at all, so that's going to be a major struggle for me. I am going to set aside some money though ... Wed, 25 Aug 2010 20:04:36 EST Still bored! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3571321 Yep, I'm still bored *lol* But I did get my burn in yesterday and got extra today after playing outside, chasing Harrison around the yard and then taking him for a walk. I also got a new DVD to check out from Netflix today (Denise Austin's Personal Trainer system) and Gold Gym's Dance Workout game for the Wii. I had forgotten that I actually pre-ordered that nearly two months ago. Going to probably pop that in after Harrison goes to bed tonight to at least get a gist of what it's like. <B... I just got my first ever kiss from my son 224 Had intended starting off this blog a different way, but then he went and did that so... *lol*

So yesterday didn't go quite as planned. We got to my parent's camper mid-morning, and much to my disappointment my mom announces it's a no go on the turkey burgers. Apparently she thought she had some left there, but actually didn't have any. Bah humbug! So they made brat burgers instead, but I only ate a... Sun, 22 Aug 2010 19:27:51 EST TGIF! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3556104 Oh-so happy it's Friday 334

So yesterday I didn't do much. Woke up with a pounding headache, so I ended up setting up camp on the couch and after awhile fell back asleep. Woke up to the alarm I'd set on my cell phone, then fell back asleep again *lol* Luckily one of our cats jumped on me about 20 minutes later and I woke up. Though in that shorter snooze I did manage to have one bizarre dream... 24

It was a good day once the headache went away. ... Fri, 20 Aug 2010 08:01:37 EST I'm getting bored.... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3549180 I hate to admit it, but I am getting bored with my workouts. I tried mixing in different things to keep it from happening, but it's happening anyway. I guess I kind of figured this would happen at some point, though I did expect it a lot earlier than this *lol* Generally I get bored after a few weeks, not a few months. I'm going to try to work my way through this, but right now the only thing I look forward to is taking Harrison out for a walk at night now, though since it's supposed to s... Wed, 18 Aug 2010 07:26:08 EST Oh Monday... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3541721 Why must you keep coming around? Ending a perfectly good weekend... *lol*

Got a bit of a late start this morning with the workout and had to cut it short so I could wake Brandon up. Not much fun having to watch the clock while trying to do your workout. So I only got 21 minutes in on the treadmill. However, I did cut my mile time down even more. Did it in 14 minutes 23 seconds today!

Tried mixing some of the whey protein with milk yesterday. Perhaps my ratio was of... Mon, 16 Aug 2010 09:25:29 EST Sunday again http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3539416 I'm beginning to think the shred just isn't going to happen. At least not as often as I'd like. I'm going to try to mix it in again, but I haven't gotten the chance to do it since last Tuesday. I feel bad about it, but I'm still doing other things, so I'm not going to sweat it too much. This morning I woke up at 5 as usual (even on the weekends my internal clock seems to go off then!), but decided to sleep in. Last night we stayed up watching Date Night (soooo funny!) and then I had trou... Sun, 15 Aug 2010 14:23:26 EST Oops... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3535719 So guess who got up this morning at 5 a.m.? Harrison. I was a little peeved because then that generally means no morning workout for mama. But Brandon took him in our room and they laid on the bed and I could hear them laughing in there. So I started doing Walk Away The Pounds. Got through one mile, no real prob, except you could tell I hadn't done it in a few weeks *lol* Second mile starts and about 3 minutes in I twisted my knee. That was the end of that. Tried to keep going, but ho... Sat, 14 Aug 2010 07:08:51 EST What a burn! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3528519 I did some Zumba again. Only 16 minutes today, but of the Sculpt & Tone disc. Just wanted to give it a shot. I discovered a problem... they can move so fluidly on the floor they're on. My only option is to do it on carpet, which makes it impossible to do in my shoes. Tried it in my socks and not sure that's really the way to go either. Argh. This is going to be frustrating. Nevertheless I still got a good burn. And then I got on the treadmill to really get the heart pumping. Shaved ... Thu, 12 Aug 2010 07:53:25 EST Zumba http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3524379 Got my Zumba DVD set yesterday. Had a good ol time laughing at myself doing it this morning LMAO. Yep yep yep, I am soooooo uncoordinated haha. But I gave it my best shot. I only did 33 of the 58 minutes of the teaching part because it's that TOTM again and my cramps became unbearable. But still I dripped sweat, got my heart rate up and burned a lot of calories. So I'm happy about that. All that moving around made my hate the living room floor though... man that thing creaks! *LOL* <BR... Wed, 11 Aug 2010 07:11:18 EST Day 7 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3520800 Only 3 more days of level 1 to go! Man that thing is still kicking my butt. And then after the shred I jumped on the treadmill for 20 minutes. Really pushed it this morning on there. Did a mile in 15 minutes 39 seconds. Probably could've done faster if I hadn't done the first 3 minutes on a 3.4 speed *LOL*

Got my HRM watch working. Had it on the wrong setting yesterday. My bad, hah. Now I'm slightly paranoid about the accuracy, though the reviews for it were great, so I gu... Tue, 10 Aug 2010 08:07:24 EST Uh hmm... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3517296 Ok, so I got my HRM watch. Thought I set it up correctly this morning. But apparently not because it's not giving me any readings on anything. Ugh. Time to re-read the manual I guess. Maybe I had it on the wrong setting. Who knows. But the shred most definitely gets my heart rate up there *LOL*

Was not a great weekend. Saturday was a LONG day. And a bad food day. Bad bad bad *lol* Came back from up north yesterday morning and felt miserable. That bed we slept in was hor... Mon, 9 Aug 2010 07:54:13 EST So much for day 6... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3511915 Today was planned to be day 6 of the shred for me. That didn't happen. I got through the warm up and the strength part of circuit 1. And then Harrison woke up. Before 6 a.m. This is a kid that barely wakes up before 8 a.m. Go figure. So day 6 has been postponed until tomorrow when we get home. This afternoon we're heading over to Eau Claire to hit the mall (for my husband, not me... ugh!) and then up to Spooner where he grew up. It's Jack Pine Savage Days and some of his classmates a... Sat, 7 Aug 2010 09:33:04 EST Day 5 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3505178 Today marks the halfway point of level 1. Still working my way through push-ups, against the wall. Still not having an easy go of the static lunge with bicep curl. The bicep curl is definitely not an issue. The static lunge on the other hand... especially with my knee having been bugging me last night and into this morning. So I did the best I could with that one. Happily I advanced to the harder level of butt kicks finally and the oblique crunches without one of my arms out at the side... Thu, 5 Aug 2010 07:48:19 EST A little better... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3501597 Burn that is. Apparently I did push it a little harder this morning because I managed to burn an extra 25 calories more than usual with level 1 of the shred. And that's a good thing. Glad to know I'm getting a little better at it *lol* I did do an extra modification with the push-ups today though and did them against the wall. I'd rather be able to do them all with that modification than struggle and not get through them all on the floor. No walking today though, which makes me feel lik... Wed, 4 Aug 2010 08:22:32 EST Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3497781 That's the DVD I did this morning. My goal had been to make it through 3 circuits. I did 3-1/2. Still not as great a burn as I would've expected for as much as I sweated and pushed myself. But I know I did the best I could for my level of flexibility and strength. And let me tell you... walking planks... I don't enjoy those *lol* Back to the shred tomorrow. With the warm up and the 3-1/2 circuits I did 30 minutes of that and then 15 minutes of light walking on the treadmill.

... Tue, 3 Aug 2010 07:38:16 EST The real day 3 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3494113 I began to wonder this morning... when will I really be able to do a push-up? *LOL* Day 3 was not any better than day 1 in that regard. However, I am getting ever so slightly better with the bicycle crunches, so that's a plus. Only 7 more days to go of level one! Then time for a change up. I'd say hooray! No more bicycle crunches! But looking at the exercise list for level two... it's kind of an even trade off of torture *lol*

Okay, I gotta say, I definitely prefer the choco... Mon, 2 Aug 2010 09:11:05 EST Day 3... or maybe not? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3492763 I had intentions of doing day 3 of the 30 Day Shred today. Obviously from the title I didn't. I woke up feeling more tired than I had when I went to bed. I had thoughts of still attempting it, but for my own safety (I'm a klutz even when I'm fully awake, when not so awake... look out!) I opted not to. So I haven't been particularly active today since I've actually felt just worn out all day, but I'll just take today as my rest day for the week. No biggie.

It was day 2 of keepi... Sun, 1 Aug 2010 21:06:56 EST Day 2 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3487772 Woo, what a workout! I did day 2 of the shred and then hopped on the treadmill. I just felt the need to "walk it out" *lol* So I logged 1.27 miles on there. Probably could've done more, but felt like going at a bit of a slower pace today.

I'm debating on what kind of program I want to follow with the shred. I don't think I'll be doing it everyday straight for 30 days. Right now I'm leaning towards 3 days of the shred, 1 day other cardio/ST, 2 days of the shred, 1 day off, t...
