I also have not been exercising as much as I normally do - when you are getting ready to move overseas everyone wants a piece of your time to see you and say goodbye. I was also ill for a few days, and to top it all off, I no longer have a scale - it is in transition to our next home. My clothes still seem to fit fine, but I have still been a little apprehensive. The movers come on that same Monday to start packing us up to leave. I'm going to be travelling a lot up and down the East Coast and my computer access will be limited - which means my time on SP will be limited as well. I am going to do my very best to stay on track. So today I hit the 15 pounds lost mark - time for another prize! My ultimate goal is to wear a bikini, and I know I will someday. But I only have eight pounds until I hit my goal weight - 125 lbs - and though my body is changing for the better, I am pretty sure that even at 125 lbs I won't feel bikini ready. I have a high percentage of body fat; just losing weight isn't going to do it, I really need to up my lean muscle mass. That is why this month I have challenged myself to do some form... Thu, 12 Jul 2007 18:06:37 EST Half way! So I finally broke out of the plateau of 138 - not that I am complaining about the plateau. I very well could have gained weight, but I was able to maintain and I am very happy about that. <BR> <BR> But it came as a great surprise to see 136.5 flash on the scale this morning! I couldn't believe it - I was hoping to lose a 1/2 pound, so a 1 and a 1/2 pound loss made me ecstatic. Mon, 18 Jun 2007 09:10:41 EST Back to reality So I have been AWOL from SP since last Wednesday, I was out of town (went to Michigan) and it was the busiest six days of my life! We flew into Detroit and visited friends in Superior Township and St. Joseph, family in Niles, a christening in Kalamazoo, a wedding Berrien Springs. I think we spent more time on I-94 than in any one place. I went for a run on Saturday morning, but that was the only time I had to work out, and computer access was limited so I was unable to track my nutrition... Mon, 11 Jun 2007 20:52:02 EST Ten pounds, finally!! After my first four weeks, I set mini weight loss goals for myself based on how I was losing at the time. I had hoped to lose ten pounds by 5/14, but when the day came, I had only lost 8.5. <BR> <BR> Though disappointing, I didn't let it get me down - instead I used it as motivation to keep going. And it worked! Today, one week later, I hit the ten pounds lost mark!! <BR> <BR> Even though my measurements have barely changed, I can definitely see a difference in my body. The "back fat"... Mon, 21 May 2007 09:49:40 EST Week 6 Yay!! Got back on track this week - ate at least my minimum number of calories every day, did at least 30 minutes of cardio everyday - and lost another 2 pounds!! Lost 1 lb the first week, 2 lbs per week for the next two weeks, and 1 lb this past week. Got kinda used to dropping 2 lbs per week, so when I weighed in this morning it was kind of a disappointment. HOWEVER - I know why it happened, and I think some might be surprised. I actually went under - WAY under - calories three days in a row this week.
