One of my favorite seasons for sure! But this spring has given me a rough cold and flu. Today is day 11, although I am feeling much better and am starting to track my food again. I didn't gain any weight and I maintained, which we all know is a good thing. <BR> The birds came back to Wisconsin as usual but I felt bad for them as it was a cool month. Fri, 26 May 2017 11:34:57 EST More Fiber Please! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6352937 Getting more fiber without supplements is hard for me to do for some reason. I need to go back to eating more whole foods. Tonight I'm adding raw broccoli and zucchini to see it that helps my fiber intake. If anyone has ideas on how to get more fiber throughout the day, I'd appreciate it. <BR> The next thing I need to do is to stop eating protein bars. I hope I can accomplish this in the near future. May have to replace them with fruit and a string cheese. One more day then a detox, replace 2 meals with green smoothies and one large meal at lunch. Veggies low starch and protein. I was hopping for more than a 3 lb loss, but I'll take what I can get. During this spring cleaning, I have learned a lot about what I should stay away from. Bread and refined carbs are going to be few and far apart. I don't want to go back to coffee either. It was until I logged my food when we got home and discovered there were about 1200 grams of sodium it the chicken and more in the salsa. Now I remember why I quit going there.
