I feel like I am a living example of "you can lead a horse to water, but can't make them drink". I know I need to exercise more and eat the right foods in the right amounts, but GRRRR. <BR> <BR> Right now it's a focus on eating healthy. I had the best of intentions to spin this morning but every muscle in my body is hurting. That is a good thing, but I have other things that I am considering before I get back to spinning. One is a new pair of shoes. I think the soles are too thin to be up and down with my flat feet. It feels like the petals are digging into the 'arch'. Two I am having major chafing issues. Thirty minutes was the length of the class. I am SOOOOOO glad I only did that one. I wasn't up and down like the other classmates, but I know it did something because I almost fell over when I got off <em>40</em> I even pushed to get an extra 10 minutes in on the tread mill. And my diet has been horrible. I'm finally back on some kind of level spot with my emotions. And no more condolence food. I still miss my mom but I know that she'd want me to get healthy. Debating some of the marathons that happen all year long. So much that has touched our family. Lung cancer..Breast Cancer.. I think I must log on every day. A certain accountability. Eating unhealthy isn't too much of a concern. Eating too much is. On the positive, I did exercise for Wed. I fell off the healthy lifestyle wagon. I've spent the last 6 months being lazy. Kept telling myself I can exercise later. Last week was my first week going to the gym since I signed up. See I've had the membership for about a month now. At first, I made little excuses not to go in the morning. You know things like "Well there will be lots of people seeing me look like a klutz!!"
