Yesterday, I added the Lose It App to my smartphone and I tracked all my food. I came up with about 1600 calories for the day. I had cereal for breakfast, a small portion of thai food for lunch, and a roast chicken salad at Ruby Tuesdays ... Sat, 26 Jan 2013 10:48:10 EST MIL BACK AT THE NURSING HOME http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5222733 Well, we tried to bring her home but she arrived back at the home yesterday evening at dinner time. All of the nurses and CNA's were so glad to see her and they immediately got to work taking care of her. It is so the right place for her to be. SHe is in a newer room that has built in cupboards around her bed and more room at the end of the bed for us to sit and visit. And a new flat screen, bigger TV on the wall that works.

I just can't tell you how relieved both my husband ... Fri, 25 Jan 2013 09:09:58 EST MIL BACK IN HOSPITAL http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5220465 So today hubby was taking MIL to the doctor and when they were testing her oxygen it was only 78 and they immediately sent her to the emergency room. We thought surely this is it this time but you never know. They took an x-ray and she has a slight case of pneumonia. We are so ready for her to be out of her misery and off to better parts. But I guess God has plans for her that we do not know about.
So you see, all this week, when she was coughing at our house, she was developing pn... Wed, 23 Jan 2013 17:06:17 EST THIS WEEK A BUST http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5218291 I went to the doctor yesterday and all I have is a head cold. The drainage is making me cough and he gave me some heavy duty cough medicine so I slept good all night. Hubby took MIL to the doctor as well and they did an x-ray and found she has fluid on the outside of her lungs, not in her lungs so that was a revelations. She got symbicort and we have to administer that. I am so ready to feel better. This is one of the worst head colds I've had in a long time so another week and its gone,... Tue, 22 Jan 2013 09:36:29 EST MIL at doctor http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5217083 So today, after coughing her head off all night, my husband took MIL to the doctor. Had to see someone we don't know but she is getting a chest x-ray and then we will see what is up. This is so annoying. I am seeing the doc at 4:30 this afternoon although I feel much better and will probably be okay but hubby is insisting. You see, he was not around MIL Fri and Sat and he did not know how bad it was. ANd then me coughing as well.
I am so over this and ready to move on. Mon, 21 Jan 2013 12:59:31 EST STUFF http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5215092 So its 3:00 a.m. and I'm up blogging. My coughing woke me up and I"m drinking tea with honey to try and soothe it. It wears you out and my MIL has been coughing since Wed and she must be exhausted. This is the third time this year I've had a cough with phlegm so maybe it is time to see the doctor on Monday. I try to muddle through it but it gets to the point of no return.
I had to forego my bootcamp at the gym yesterday because I felt no one would appreciate me being there, coughin... Sun, 20 Jan 2013 04:25:33 EST FEELING BETTER http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5214082 I'm feeling better mentally although not physically. Cough and hack, cough and hack. MIL is too but she is better as well. Maybe we've settled in a bit. This morning I need to help her with a bath and then I am going to sew. I do need to go to the grocery so we will have something to eat. Not much in the fridge. 41 Sat, 19 Jan 2013 09:56:02 EST
